    Most San Diego weather reports are referencing the conditions at the airport. The airport is near the ocean where it is cooler, more humid and cloudier than anywhere else that is more inland before reaching the mountains. Interestingly, when a report gives rainfall amounts they are usually less than much of the area actually receives because the airport tends to get less rain than many other locations in SD.

    My husband & I will be moving near the naval base. Will you do a video on some near by neighbors you recommend for renting?

    • @BernMcGovern
      @BernMcGovern  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Casey - Yes! Courtney and I were just talking about doing that very thing. How soon will you be moving and were they any specific areas you wanted to see or just close ton the base?

    • @RoamIntoYoga
      @RoamIntoYoga 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Living in San Diego. Thanks for your quick reply! We still have about a year until the move. At this point I was looking for a high level overview of the recommended neighborhoods within 20 mins of the base. Once the date is closer will drill down into the properties based on neighborhood recommendations. Keep the videos coming! 😊

    Hi.. Just subscribed your channel. Thanks for info. Please help me on one thing. I am thinking of working in San Diego. I have dry eye issues and i believe San diego has dry environment. So does this city have some level of humidity? Any idea whether offices use air containers in this city as it makes eye dry.

    • @BernMcGovern

      The weather is pretty dry here. I actually used to wear contacts all the time but had to revert back to glasses due to dry eye.

      @Justin Talks Film Very true! While we don't get piles of snow, blizzards and below zero winters, we can get many days of chilly gray damp 55 degree days from January through June.

    The Atlantic off the coast of New England states is pretty cold and the Pacific around Hawaii is very warm so I’m not sure saying the Pacific is cold and the Atlantic is warm is really right...

    • @BernMcGovern
      @BernMcGovern  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I am not particularly sensitive with allergies but I do know people that used to live on other parts of the county (Midwest and East Coast) that say San Diego’s weather is way better for people with allergies. I’m no expert but I believe the pollen level is either less here or just not nearly as bad as those areas.

    This video didn't teach me the highest temperatures in the hottest months or the lowest temperatures in the coldest months, and a few other important informations are missing. Just saying overall tendences dosen't help to understand the reality.

    • @BernMcGovern
      @BernMcGovern  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah I probably would have made it differently today.
      Hottest months are July - October.
      May/ June aren’t the best beach days due to the Marina Layer
      Winter Months December through March - day time temp is between 65-75 degrees but at night it can get down into the high 40’s
