As a Spurs fan I’m still 100% behind Ange. The Chelsea defeat was the result of two stupid challenges by Romero and Udogie, and they had more than enough chances to win both the Villa and West Ham games (If Richarlison could score a free header from 6 yards Spurs go 2-1 up last night). The only poor performance was the Wolves games.
Ange has a philosophy, and you can’t just abandon that when you get a few bad results, especially when he’s only been in charge for 15 games!

Yet Ten Hag isn’t good enough and is a failure after a season of success and having to deal with more injuries than any other team, off field ego’s his entire United tenure so far, all of that, got United to a final, won a trophy and got top 3.. but he’s a United manager and the media will use man United to draw clicks and get attention.. he hasn’t lost 4 out of 5 games while leading first in every game, wasn’t knocked out of a cup by a lower league team and can set up to play to his teams strengths when needed, not just one game plan that is fun to watch but makes the team tire by the 60th minute and is easy to play through.. if people think Ten Hag deserves criticism then so does Ange

The biggest problem that Spurs have currently got in terms of perception is simply the order of the results - if they had been sat where they are now in the league but the results had been more random instead of coming together (first came the wins and now the losses) - people wouldn’t be criticising Ange at all now - that’s why Spurs fans are still happy because they can see the direction of travel - the real problem (as the injuries have highlighted) is the squad still needs strengthening and players added that compliment the new style of play - some of our existing players who are not suitable to it also need to be moved on - personally I think we need a third CB because it is obvious that two atm will not play every game but for different reasons (VdV hammy is a big concern) and we need a CF/goalscorer - such a shame Ange didn’t come a year earlier because having Harry in the current first choice side would have been a match for anyone

If you play against a team that parks the bus and does so with fierce concentration and determination then its close to impossible to break through , thats why West Ham won yesterday. I really don’t get what all the fuss is about. Ange took over with mostly a squad not of his own choice and still has players like Dier who Spurs tried to off load but could not. Then he loses Kane who was their best player and top goal scorer. Ange goes on a winning run and luck goes Spurs way early. Then Spurs pick up injuries to key players and suspensions in the Chelsea match. Even in that game with nine men Spurs always got a result. Injury time loss to Wolves with a patched together squad. They managed to get a draw against City and signs are on the up. Now pundits are questioning Angel’s management after Villa who whilst played well the goals were gifted to them, they didn’t create them through great play. Bottom line Spurs are playing great football but they are not converting a high % of goal scoring chances to kill off the game. Ange must be allowed to recruit a proven striker in the Jan window, if so, Spurs can go on a Man City like run in the New Year. The league is wide open with so many teams able to get a result against the usual top 4.
