Biggest reason for everyone is probably the cost. Not anything else. I am a vegeterian and for me to reach my protein goals everyday I would have to spend 7500 minimum every month. I am 85kg so according to your table I would need 150 grams per day. Assuming I am including only highest quality protein supplements. The cost can go down if I include soya chunks which comes with it's own issues like soo many anti nutrients and low bio availability.

The only problem with Soya is digestibility. If you can digest Soya you should go for it. The estrogen thing is a myth. Eggs are literally female products of an animal. They have much more estrogen. And if eggs dont cause any harm how would Soya cause harm to your body. Also some amount of Estrogen is always produced by your body. It too has anabolic and other effects in the body.
