Low heat means high efficiency and probably long life...Licitti huh? It looks like someone cared about the design and if you had opened it up, I bet the construction would be well thought through too. Nice. Thanks again Brad.

@@BradCagleor wait for a follow up review when the charger is available. I used my 20 amp Licitti charger all weekend. The fan is loud, but I've had zero issues with it. I kept checking for hot spots while running it continuously for hours, but it only got warm.
@@ІгорСмоляк-й9гit is cheapest to build a battery from raw cells and buy a BMS of your choice. Its probably half the price of buying a pre built battery. It might be best to buy pre built if it needs to be in a good case or if you are not familiar with how to build a battery. The server rack style batteries seem to be popular and I think are about 1500 each for 100 amp hours. Hope all is well in Ukraine and prayers for you and the family
Will this battery charger charge 2 24 volt Lipo batteries in parallel efficiently? Where is the best place to buy this charger... I live I Baja, Mexico
Brad I'm wanting to leave my system up and charging while I'm away 3 weeks at a time. Do you know if it will hurt my charge controller if my BMS shuts off charging due to cold temp? I know the victron and my jk bms have temp limits set but I know we are not supposed to have power going to the charge controller if the battery isn't hooked up so I didn't know if the BMS shutting off would damage anything.
@@BradCagle I appreciate you getting back to me with that answer as quick as you did. I'm about to pack my stuff up for another 3 weeks out and I'm gonna leave my system charging while I'm gone. Thanks man for sure
Beware when your 24V battery wont charge when the auto sensing mode in this type of charger says fully charged in the 12V mode. These need a 12V or 24V manual switch. Very worthless while trying to charge a low voltage 24V battery. 😖
Let's open it up!
😜
is there anything wrong with the 20amp charger unit that comes with the battery box?

Yeah, looking back I should have opened it up. I think I'll open it, take so photos, and post them. Thanks Ben!

Victron says it's safe for their MPPTs to lose the battery.
