    Dude, you are practically paralleling my projects, lol..this is like the 3rd in a row in recent days.. a month or so ago you were looking at Bluettis and portable solar panels, then the low temp Redodo, and now the Licitti - I'm ordering one today.
    I was going to order a few with intention of upgrading a couple to a bigger Inverter and controller and just use the box, but there's not enough room inside for that.🤷‍♂ Still gettin' at least one for the unforeseen emergency to keep in the bugout-mobile.
    Appreciate your content brother.👍

    I would recommend using a wrench to fasten the battery terminals to prevent overheating or arching. A screw driver won't compress the spring washer enough to ensure good contact between the two surfaces.

    I don't know, but it is possible that the temperature sensor is a way to control the fans. If the inverter is not producing heat the fans will remain off until temp rises due the inverter running.

    Thats pretty cool and I been researching solar power generator, and I have a question. Does that support pass through solar charge. Like can I use the 110 watt plug and than will the solar panel charge the battery at the same time?

      Yes it does. Everything inside is independent of each other. Hope this helps!

    Love this thing. So easy. I’m strongly thinking about this as a redundant option for some lights, tv, and light electronics. For the price, can’t really beat it. Would love to see an AC charger and cigarette lighter option to charge be car.

      I would think a Cig Lighter would be an easy enough addition, and you can order one with or without a 20A charger. I just did.
      On the website page for each size, down to the right there's a drop down tab to choose with or without the charger.👍

    Can you guide me how this would help in my plan to use it as back up to a solar pond pump where when there is no sun, the system will switch automatically so that the pond pump will continue to work overnight?

    • @OffGridBasement
      @OffGridBasement  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I would need to know a lot more about the solar pond pump in order to really help. The battery box would need to be wired between the solar panel and the pump.

    How many watts can you charge by solar and how much by A/C power? Can you A/C charge battery with solar at same time? If so at how many watts total? What does a power station like ecoflow delata 2 do that this unit doesnt? Because this is half the price with 100ah battery conpared to delta 2 and 100ah battery has close to 300wh more.

    • @OffGridBasement
      @OffGridBasement  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There is no AC input for the battery box. You would need to get a lifepo4 charger. This box also won't tell the SoC of the battery. Hope this helps. Thanks for the questions and comment.

    Make sure if you put a Lithium battery inside it has at least a 100A BMS, otherwise the inverter will shut down if you try to draw 1000W. Many of the cheaper 100AH batteries only have 50A BMS. And beware - do not try and use this to jump start a motor via the large anderson plug - use a proper jump start device.

    • @tomrum42
      @tomrum42 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Get a charger that is appropriate for the type of battery you are using and replace the large alligator clips that normally go on the battery posts and put replace them with an Anderson plug. Be sure to be mindful of the polarity when you put the Anderson plug on the charger wires. Then just plug the charger into one of the 50A Anderson plugs on the lid. Those plugs are for input and output.

    I'm new to so called "Solar Generators" and own a few brands and what interests me the most are the 12V cigarette receptacles and not the a/c power. I own a couple of jackery 500 that I use for my dometic and cpap, but would enjoy a power bank that would have 3 or 4 12v cigarette receptacle so that I could also plug a 12v fan when camping. Do you know if I could replace the usb plugs with the 12V cigarette plugs and still draw 10 amps max from each receptacle , will the wire gauge handle it? Thank you for your videos, I a new subscriber, I really like your content.

    • @OffGridBasement
      @OffGridBasement  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Unfortunately no. The USB ports wouldn't support that load. My suggestion would be to buy a cigarette lighter adapter to 5521 barrel plug. That might work for you if your power station has barrel plug inputs.

    • @ericchang7706
      @ericchang7706 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The 12VDC cigarette receptacle is probably limited to 10A or 15A, so if you go the "splitter" route, you have to make sure your devices don't go over that amount when run concurrently.
      Another option is to get (or make) an adapter for the 50A DC Anderson plugs as those are putting out battery voltage (around 13.1V w/LiFePO4). Unlikely Jackery, these are NOT regulated, so the voltage will fluctuate. However, LiFEPO4 batteries have a consistent 13Vish output. Just make sure you DC devices don't need an exact voltage (most don't as car voltages fluctuate a lot).

    I like the concept of a battery-less power station where the user supplies the battery. This unit is not the ticket, though. They shouldn't try to box a limited-size battery for one thing... just the power station piece and an anderson connector or two for the battery mains is more desirable. Also, power stations (even small ones) don't use 12V internal architectures for a reason. This thing is going to be horribly inefficient.
    But something like this that can accept a battery, say up to 16s (51.2V nominal), without the battery box mess... that would be useful. The product is horrible but the concept is sound.
