    You guys ever look around and realize. Were living in the future? Like holy sh*t younger me would have lost his mind hearing of tech like this in my child hood. Im an adult now and seeing all this stuff while partly kinda casual another way im blown away. Like if you told 8 year old me that in the future will have smart home robots and house assistance and AI robots to just casually talk to like a real person in my life time, id loose my mind. These vr tecks to be transported into your favorite child hood video game is still baffling to me. Its crazy to think that things CAN and WILL just get better and better faster and sooner as my life goes on. Im hyped to see what humans are capable of

    I really can't truly believe this. Regular lenses, which just bend the light to improve vision already complicated to manufacture, easy to break, and so on. Why is a company giving nothing but a promise to convince most people that they really did put a battery, display, processor, and sensors into something smaller than the smallest microcontrollers? Everything with this whole idea seems physically impossible, so if they indeed did this, it's an engineering marvel.

You closer your eyes and holy fuck it's *still playing* . The experience is extremely unnerving and leaves your uncontrollably stressed out because you are used to seeing absolutely nothing after closing your eyes but you pull through, after a very grueling 60 seconds that felt more like 60 minutes and left you very much on edge, another 60 second ad plays right after it...
    You unthinkingly push two fingers into your eyes, now you are seeing red, but there are no ads, nice.

      That's what I was thinking. I've had the soft and hard ones. The soft are by FAR not uncomfortable. Seeing these though kinda makes you think. Why the hell can't they at least make a vr headset that's at least as small as the ones on the movie Ready player 1 or in the glasses obviously they don't need to be as huge as say like the Pymax or however it's spelled or even the Quest 2. I will not be calling it the Meta 🤮

    • @blaxxun75
      @blaxxun75 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@KrissD41 Yes, i agree. Just getting a tiny piece of dust behind hard lenses gives you extreme pain. Sizewise i think the further you move a display away from the eyeball the bigger it needs to be. When you look at pictures who show how an external lens focuses lightrays onto a "hotspot" then it always looks like a cone. So contacts is the closest you can get with that cone. I see the many uses for this but... I used to wear contact lenses and I ended up hating it.

    This is so wrong for two reasons. One contacts are disposable and don't last more than a month and some are dailies. The second they have a battery on your eye that will be sitting on a wet surface. Hmm what can go wrong there? Pop

    fuck this sounds sick, truly enhancing humans with tech. shit like robo prosthetics and 'organ helpers' like pacemakers and the diabetes things exist which is great though could be more mature - just, the idea of upgrading your entire human body to be perfectly enhanced (and not to mention immortal!!!) is so fucking cool, and helpful and innovate for the human species - perhaps mainly because living to like 500 years healthily means people can be SO much more specialised and intelligent and shit, and having robotic parts so you still remain fit and agile even at 100 is fucking indiscribably great. Fixing the largest, most significant, and important, and influential issue in life; death!

    Maybe that is all cool and great, sorry but I wont be sticking things in my precious eyes just to do VR or AR.

    I don’t believe this is real. I want to see a real 3rd party human wearing it and describing what they see.
