    I have a voyager pro(same tach wiring as voyager) but am curious to How many Wraps did you do on your tachs & how accurate are they? I did the 5 Wraps recommended by Trailtech & my readings are super low. I also changed the setting on my voyager pro to high sensitivity if it'd make a difference but no real change...

    Where did you tap into for the power? I didn't see that in the video.

    I got the trail tech Voyager and the wires are almost too long with that model. Interesting that yours are shorter.

    So my whole reason for watching this was to find out about the wheel speed sensor. More specifically, whether or not you had to drill into the spindle and tap a screw like I've seen in other videos? It looks like that bracket (L shaped) maybe uses the plastic dust shield mounting holes? The only drilling is the plastic for the magnet? Is it accurate?
    BTW, not sure if you are comfortable doing so, but most people tend to relocate the ignition key to the left fender. I plan to do that when I do this to mine.

    • @namman03
      @namman03  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Adam Heald you are correct, I didn’t drill or tap anything. I remove the two(2) Allen head screws that secure the plastic shield to the spindle. Be careful when installing the “L” Bracket, it is possible to put it on backwards so the sensor wire will not align with the screw/magnet pickup bolt that secures the disk to the hub. I don’t think I will relocate my ignition switch. I have a Trial Tech Vapor installed with a custom mount that relocated my ignition switch to the left of the steering stem.

      Thank you for asking this. I had seen and heard from others about drilling into the knuckle which is why I still haven’t installed mine. I will now after watching this

    Hey love you video! I installed it every thing works the only thing it it seems to read high for example I’m at top speed the quad can go and it read 92mph I don’t believe it’s going that fast can you adjust the mph?

    • @namman03
      @namman03  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can adjust it. You have to calibrate the system to the wheel wheel size. It can be a little frustrating but you can do it. I think when I did it, I measured the wheel during one rotation.

    I put one on my trx300ex and the temp is not correct it says its running at 430 degrees sometimes and I talked with someone else that has one on a raptor and they kept the speedometer but put a different temp censor I think if I get one for my raptor I will do that too so be careful believing what the temp is
    Great video.

    • @namman03
      @namman03  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      On mine, I consistently run between 198-210° but it's hot where I live during the summer so that's to be expected. Now that the temps are cooling down a little I'm not above 190°. Make sure you tap into the correct hose and don't have any air pockets in your cooling system.

      @@namman03 really? That's weird I haven't had good luck at all with mine that's why I haven't put on my raptor but maybe I will try a trail tech Voyager pro on the raptor since I ride way up in the mountains thanks for your feedback I should have sent mine back maybe its defective

    How did u get the Alan head bolts out of the hub. Any suggestions mine are extremely tight.

    • @namman03
      @namman03  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You could try a little heat(just don't over heat the part), or using a 1/4" impact. Thats what I used on mine with no problems. They are tight cause they have thread lock on them. Best of luck

    Im wondering how did you manage to put both the c clamp, the dustshield and the magnetic bolt in without touching each other....i tried but those 3 combined dont give me enough space....i put a magnet in the original hub bolts to keep some clearance...but good job....and yes that connector next to the sensor sucks....my old trailtech didnt have that conmector....it was just a solid cable....makes the protective tube around the wires completely uselless since the weak point in now the connector....i just cant understand these companies 😑

    • @namman03
      @namman03  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would have to look and see how I did it again. I did remove one of the hub bolts, and I did use a step bit to drill out the dust shield to allow the sensor to fit.

    • @tomespa6393
      @tomespa6393 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@namman03 yeah i think your sensor is just flat with the dustshield, than it would work , ill have a look tomorrow....i now installed it without a c clamp, just drilled a hole in the dust shield and put the sensor on there
