My only concern with teams waiting before coming in for likes of Summerville and Gnonto late is that we're left with no real replacements because all the real business has been done... difficult situation

Patience in doing transfer business is all well and good, and yes, most significant signings will most probably happen during the last couple of weeks of the transfer window. However, it shouldn't be lost on us that quite a lot of Championship teams have already made significant numbers of signings. In addition, leaving it until the last minute, doesn't help the pre-season and team cohesion. We can't use the same chaotic excuses from last pre-season. Better quality is a must to improve on missing out last season. I'm sure it's all in hand! 😂

Stuff never happens until late July and August..
Last season we signed our first player on the 17th of July. We've 2 in already now and expecting more to come. The caliber of player leeds will be interested in will jave other interest and clubs won't sell until they have replacements. Its not as simple as just buying a player. It's not fifa were playing. These take time especially at the level we are looking. Sheffield brought 1 in, Burnley had to pay obligations for two players last season this summer and are likely to sell both and only signed an under 21 full back. I don't get the panic. We're 10 days into a window.
I can wait. But it will be very interesting to see what shelf 49rs finally goes shopping at. Thats what matters in the end. ⚽️🤞
Great to see a strong youth structure being reinforced. They're our future, either as players or perhaps exceptionally as an income stream when they've broken through and other clubs come sniffing!

Hopefully the 49ers have replacements identified for all positions ie Glen, Gruev, Summerville, Gnonto, Rutter, Bamford etc so we are ready to go if any of them leave
