Tamashii for whatever reason will NEVER re-release something (figure OR accessories) in a retail release if it first debuted in a P-Bandai or Event Exclusive release. It's been stated in interviews and is actively demonstrated in the line, for example GMK and Mecha-King Ghidorah were Tamashii Web Shop Exclusives, so they could NEVER release as retail standard. Tamashii has a work around with their "Final Battle Ver." Or "Decisive Ver." Thing they've got going on, so you can get the same mold and essentially the same figure, but again it's still released as an exclusive in some way. That's why the GXK New Empire SHMA Kong doesn't use the Event Exclusive figure or its accessories. We could see that mold and accessories return in the GxK line, but it would have to be another Event Exclusive or P-bandai. I hope this makes sense, and yes, I know too much about SHMA

I think the figures are nice, but I still can't get by Kong's goofy face. They honestly should've given him a growling expression. As for Godzilla.. I'm just glad his tail is fully painted. The other mishaps, I can kinda forgive.

MMS has had more than a few releases that look like HQ $70 releases. And sometimes they have ones like these… a litte more time in the oven would’ve been for the better.
I have been starting to considering on getting the Bandai Movie Monster Series Monsterverse characters including the King of the Monsters 2019 set because some of the Movie Monster series figures are a bit bigger than the Playmates Monsterverse figures like the reissued 1991 Godzilla figure is a bit bigger than the Playmates Godzilla figures but I'm still not sure to be honest
The thing that bothers me the most is the fact the most of the Godzilla figures barely have paint now, while others have painted mouth, tail, claws, highlights in the sculture, while Godzilla, you know, the main guy on the MMS line barely gets paint, its just "solid paint in the eye, paint in the dorsal plates" and thats it

Yeah I’m not sure why they went with this kind of design for these. I doubt it’ll be something that carries over to other releases though, as this just feels like the bare minimum Monsterverse attempt Bandai’s made in the past.

They're not Bandai's best, not even close. And I'm not sure if it's because they just didn't have the files necessary to MAKE these look so good. Or if they really don't put their all into MV releases lol Either or feels rather plausible.
These two figures from the latest Monsterverse Movies look impressive. Their looks and design look not half bad. I also do like the movie to a certain degree. Thinking weather or not if I may pick them up in the future.

the SHAM is extremely tempting... even with that wild price lol Not even gonna lie. Yeah these feel pretty hastily thrown together, not sure if it's a personal matter, or if Bandai just didn't have the files needed to make these look as good as.. '55 Goji and Angy. MosuGoji. Kaiju No.8. Minilla. or even the Imaginative Color 55's. It's a pretty steep fall off. And I really wish it wasn't. IF Shimo and Skar King come along from the MMS, I hope they at the very least fair better than these did.
It's amazing with the before and after design of monke. GVK He scruffy with a belly, New Empire, he's got abs, his waist is slimmer his eyes got bigger and his monk cheeks are more pronounced. See the results of monke arobics pay off for sure. Goji details aremore pronouced than the GVK form thats for sure
