@@ShinRobjiraEvolved Godzilla was leaked a couple days ago. It looks pretty good so far. At least SHMA and Hiya Toys have better detail than the Playmates and Bandai figures.

They definitely sculpted these without access to the cgi models.
I think Bandai took the files for the GvK vinyls and built on top of those. That explains why they look similar to those inaccuracies, but completely different molds.

The scar sculping not being in the Monsterarts makes even less sense when you remember that they did do scar sculpting in the Comic Con Kong.
That’s just weird.. why didn’t they just use that exclusive sculpt Vs the original?
@@ShinRobjira that's sorta the answer. Tamashii for whatever reason will NEVER re-release something (figure OR accessories) in a retail release if it first debuted in a P-Bandai or Event Exclusive release. It's been stated in interviews and is actively demonstrated in the line, for example GMK and Mecha-King Ghidorah were Tamashii Web Shop Exclusives, so they could NEVER release as retail standard. Tamashii has a work around with their "Final Battle Ver." Or "Decisive Ver." Thing they've got going on, so you can get the same mold and essentially the same figure, but again it's still released as an exclusive in some way. That's why the GXK New Empire SHMA Kong doesn't use the Event Exclusive figure or its accessories. We could see that mold and accessories return in the GxK line, but it would have to be another Event Exclusive or P-bandai. I hope this makes sense, and yes, I know too much about SHMA

I like how the Bandai MMS Evolved Goji have some minor improvements on the 2019 one. The dorsal spikes, elbow spikes, head design, tail paint and body paint. Still looks cool though, I loved it 😍

The thing that bothers me the most is the fact the most of the Godzilla figures barely have paint now, while others have painted mouth, tail, claws, highlights in the sculture, while Godzilla, you know, the main guy on the MMS line barely gets paint, its just "solid paint in the eye, paint in the dorsal plates" and thats it

MMS has had more than a few releases that look like HQ $70 releases. And sometimes they have ones like these… a litte more time in the oven would’ve been for the better.

Yeah these feel pretty hastily thrown together, not sure if it's a personal matter, or if Bandai just didn't have the files needed to make these look as good as..
'55 Goji and Angy. MosuGoji. Kaiju No.8. Minilla. or even the Imaginative Color 55's. It's a pretty steep fall off.
And I really wish it wasn't. IF Shimo and Skar King come along from the MMS, I hope they at the very least fair better than these did.
I hope the Shimu will be good ... Hopes are still there.

The mechanical design of the beast gloves and the texture of the fur are fantastic.
Google evolved legs are thinner than 2021 and his fins are the same pink color at movie
Glad I only invested in the playmates double packs and the 11” pink Big G, I just can’t justify getting anymore empire figz because I just didn’t dig it as much as I was anticipating, I’m hoping for hiya to do stylist of 84, minus one and shin and then focus on the Showa era, gabara would be a dream come true to me

As for Godzilla.. I'm just glad his tail is fully painted. The other mishaps, I can kinda forgive.

I think I may have come to the decision that Hiya spoiled us over the accuracy and the detailing. At least that’s the way I feel.😅
Personally, I think the MMS has just a pretty great run the last 6 months.
And to go from some pretty solid releases to these is where I feel the let down comes.
They're not Bandai's best, not even close. And I'm not sure if it's because they just didn't have the files necessary to MAKE these look so good.
Or if they really don't put their all into MV releases lol Either or feels rather plausible.

I really dislike the new tag design. The previous ones with actual character pictures were much better looking.
Yeah I’m not sure why they went with this kind of design for these. I doubt it’ll be something that carries over to other releases though, as this just feels like the bare minimum Monsterverse attempt Bandai’s made in the past.
I have a question to ask. I am Korean. Can I order Evolved Godzilla and King Kong online? Is it only sold in Japan like Movie Monster Series 2021 Godzilla?

they buy direct from Japan so the wait time may be a bit longer than usual, but they're a great site and I've not experienced any issues with them so far!
And then there's Always BigBadToyStore - www.bigbadtoystore.com they don't have them in just yet, but they do carry new and old MMS figures
and get some in, if a bit slow, but better than nothing!

It's amazing with the before and after design of monke. GVK He scruffy with a belly, New Empire, he's got abs, his waist is slimmer his eyes got bigger and his monk cheeks are more pronounced. See the results of monke arobics pay off for sure. Goji details aremore pronouced than the GVK form thats for sure

There never seems to be a concrete date. Just keep an eye on the US Godzilla store, that seems to be the only place to really get updates on US releases.

Because Bandai has released much better looking products than these. They’ve made $20 look way above $20. And now they drop these out and they look lesser. That’s why complained. They did the bare minimum with Godzilla and it shows.
And we all know they can do better.

The ‘55 Goji and Angweeeeeenus weren’t exclusives (at least the normal ones weren’t) and they were pretty great! ..I think this might be a case of Bandai not having source materials to work with.
