I swear people are incapable of just appreciating a great video about a guy and his dog having a blast together. Some are whining about the turds on the trail some are saying animal cruelty?! I swear people just watch videos on youtube to complain and try to feel superior to others because they thought of something stupid to bitch about.
I have an identical dog ... it's a girl. She's a great runner. She runs along with my son , helping him with his trainings ... and having a lot of fun also. Thanks Tom & Ruby for this awesome video. I love it !!!!!!!!!!
Here's an idea. A Vizsla in Whistler! Tom, make it happen! Your dog's smile on instagram is one of the reasons I love to stop whilst on the trails to pet giddy canines!
What harness do you use for Ruby. I have a Visla that I would like to do the same with but the harnes I bought just rotates around the body. Any help/link would be most appreciated. Great video by the way, Vislas are just ace!!

All.dogs will need building up to distance and dont forget, dogs are artificially selected to want to work with and for us, this often means that they go beyong pain and tiredness which does lead to long term injury, arthritus etc. If trail riding in wales beware the slate. Also a good biologically appropriate diet is very important for a trail companions and also that they have no excess weight for their joints to carry.

depends on the breed, but the Vizsla will easily do 20 miles off road, they are unbelievable athletes and love doing it!!!
