2:29 - Nick should also knock off the self deletion comments. If anything, it might make it worse to get his kids back because it could hint at Nick or Kayla being mentally unstable. Phil Hartman's wife on cocaine and Zoloft is a great example of a psychotic break which could concern CPS. If the kids hadn't escaped Brynn Hartman, who knows what could've happened to the whole family? Also there's a whole group of people who start routing for demise of the person. That's where I part ways with PPP from the Kino Casino.
I learned this lesson the hard way when I was 16 and my step father self deleted. I never said a peep to anyone but somehow a kid found out and without hesitation, he stated, he would've used a shotgun instead. Generally the life lesson from all of this is people don't care because they have their own issues. Some just like to hurt others because it's like pulling legs off a spider. I don't want to see Nick hurt but he is his own worst enemy.
For me, it's not mental anguish but I've struggled with physical kidney pain, extreme fatigue and numbness with pins and needles for the past 7 years. My family doesn't care and don't want to hear about it. It's just like, "buck up soldier," or "I've suffered as much or more than you, so you'll be fine" without understand it's kidney issues which don't get better with time. It only gets worse, more painful and even now some days I can barely tolerate the pain. I have nothing in my history like Nick's Dear John aquaintaince but, after awhile, I just stop talking. Even regular people get tired of being a burden and those burdens can be a variety of things. Fortunately in my country there's euthanasia for terminally sick. In general, I agree with the sentiment to just enjoy life for as long as possible, and with zero desire for dialysis or kidney transplant keep it clinical and wrap up end of life care.
It's okay to have these conversations, especially with close family so there's a plan, however that doesn't mean talking about it on stream, in a hot tub, for the whole world to know.
I can't imagine enjoying a hot tub, while my kids were currently removed from my house....

I asked him, as a non parent, parents do x, y, z for their kids, is it hard to deal with this since there's always a running total of how many things parents do for their kids? Doesn't that build resentment over time because one party is always doing something for the other with largely no return? He said, "I'd do anything for my kids. Anything." I thought that was very commendable. It's interesting because no matter how often Nick says visits with his kids are the most important thing, I don't believe the words coming out of his mouth while I do trust and believe this other gentleman.
