And I was just thinking no carpet found and then right at the end the site said ha ha you have not got rid of me yet I am hiding around every corner. You will be having nightmares of every new site as if there is hidden carpets ready to strike. You must all be very proud of how the land has been transformed and much value has been added to the property - well done.

Looks great after a couple passes with the SR3!
I remember smacking my head everytime our skid steer bounced. Those bobcat skids must have more headroom now if you can sit comfortably in there. Lol
yeah I'm 6' 5" and have not had a head room issue at all, even with a hat on!

Yeah, I have OCD and would be out there picking up that stuff by hand. Hope he isn't gonna leave all those piles of dirt, limbs and even an old tire there. It would seem to me that it would be better to get that stuff moved off land before seeding grass.

lol, it would have been run to really work this over for a more 'city yard' grade, but it just wasn't in the cards! But maybe I can take a road trip doc to fix up your yard if you take me fishing in NC!!! Thanks bud.

NICE!!!!!! That looks real nice. I was wondering if I was ever going to see the SR3 in action again. That is a nice piece of equipment. That is the most love that property has ever gotten in the last 75 years. I wonder what the new owners will do with it. At least it will not be a junk yard.

@@kapperoutdoors ABI are going to have disc assy. in the near future . you remove the chisel assy. and slid the disc assy. in their place.

This rougher raked grade is just perfect for a lot like this. I mean as long as a mower tracktor can get around and not get stuck, it actually looks a lot more natural too...
And you gotta leave some improvements for the new owner too ;)
I mean, they're already getting a wonderful lot with a pond and ZERO mobilehomes. Maybe a few carpets and tires ;)

If you are not fully bored of it yet, I think a full “uninterrupted” outside timelapse of the grading would look awesome. Maybe once all the parts are out...
I should have enough footage to do that between the cab top gopro and outside camera. It was a big job and lots of changing of the camera tripod and stuff. Thanks.
@@kapperoutdoors With the cab top view it feels more like "being in the job", but for some reason I imagine seeing the whole deal, even with the occasional changes in location would give a better (more satisfying) overview on the transformation.
All in all, it's just an absolutely amazing work you guys did, from an actual junkyard to a beautiful homestead. Part of me wishes the new owner fixes up the house to bring the place back to its former glory, but it's 99% more reasonable to build a new one.

I would say you are right. Two, three feet of dirt they are buried under ground. Might be better to put the pile of dirt and limbs in the open somewhere.

Are you sure he's going in the right direction. With the attachment mounted on the front wouldn't think you would go in reverse for it to work.
yes, 100% certain. Although it does have different uses going forward and reverse. The TRACTOR model works the same way, but in Forward direction. Thanks.

I don't see any reason to get it smoother than that. After the grass is growing you can rough mow it and it will look great. The sr3 works really well. Thing is you don't know what the buyer will want to use the property for and just getting it flat and buildable will be ok for now.
Roger that, would have been fun to try to get it like a city lawn, but would have 'used/wasted' too much precious time! Take care

WE are not going to demo the house, we are going to leave it for the new owners. Now, maybe they'll want to hire me to do it??, never know.

yep got a few thank you's! Heck, people would even stop by on the highway when they'd see us working to thank us for getting it all cleaned up!

Nope, just 2. May have halved over a spot here and there, but 90% of it is just 2 passes. That thing is awesome.
@@kapperoutdoors maybe you should watch your video and count how many times you go over 1 spot as any device you have to go backwards for most of the action is very good in my opinion. I know it's mine.

Sorry, not laughing at you, but we have tried for many years now to hire kids or people that want to earn some cash around here and let me tell you, it is no easy task finding someone these days that will do manual work!!
