what's keeping me away is longevity - if I am going to drop 2k, I don't want it in a landfill when the battery dies in 5 years. 650 for a battery change just isn't reasonable
@@ericsandwiches do you regret paying that much at times when you look at your wrist and think of another item or items you could have purchased with that money? ☺️
You can turn on always on display. It will then always show the watchface. It will auto-dim the screen brightness based on gesture. Still giving verry good redability under angle. With always on display turned on it will last approx 1 week, including doiing sports activities and sleep tracking during the night.
Cam , usually your reviews are fantastic and insightful , y6ou didnt even touch on what the watch was geared toward , GOLF , no breakdown, screen shots , features etc . very disappointed .
Yeah, apologies, I'm afraid I'm not a golfer and so my insight in that area would be useless. And this was the Marq 2 version Garmin sent us, not a lot I could do about that.

Can you rotate the bezel on this watch?
No that's only on Samsung classic watches. I have no idea why. It's the best feature. I wonder if they have a patent on it or something
Thank you for the beautiful review. We want to review the Garmin watch, the second generation, the Captain's watch

@@iCARTER haha who doesn't get buyer's remorse? Of course the watch would be even better if it were free.
yeah, just ordered my aviator yesterday. can't wait to get my hands on it.
Thank you!
I just can't stand wearing a watch with the screen off, to me it's nonsense.
So I'll be stuck to my Fenix6 Pro for a long while

@@krisvanaut But is it the same watchface? Or just a dim clock?
@@monchoglu it’s the same watchface.
To me it's weird having screen on when nobody is looking at it :D
@@krisvanaut Hello, please tell me how to enable constant display mode?
