I think for dynamo the best use of sprinkler is a distraction or to get a small amount of ink on the ground to swim through it(idk I just found it helps)
Nice to see that a player who sounds like their cracked with Dynamo is giving a short n sweet guide. I decided to try Dynamo using a Sheldon Liscence in SPlatoon 3 and well, long story short I have a new main.
Finally dynamo's getting more recognition
Honestly you just have to know your timing, yes the roller is slow but if you press the button a tad early, you will always hit your target
This weapon is fun and really broken in overpowered in all ranked mode but I noticed it's better at rainmaker in my testing and not so good and it's luck if you win at clam blitz
Also another good ability is thermal ink because more often than not your Dynamo flings despite being really powerful don't splat your target but deal damage and with thermal ink you track down your target
The king has returned! Ngl I originally got the idea to run double Splat bomb from one of your streams back during Splatoon 1. Still use it to this day ✊🏿

Do you have any other tips for pushing back in. I underestimated my dynamo knoledge since i knew about all of these haha, but because the special is tacti and not anything like sting ray, booyah or ink armor i struggle a ton to get back in when my teamates in solo que aren't able to win their fights. In splat 2 i used gold dynamo, which was great at safely poking with splat bomb, then helping your team dominate in their push with armor.
Tacticooler is good for pushing and trying to be aggressive, for defensive use it's not that great.
You'd want to push back as soon as you're not safe I feel. But it can be good to try to push in with Dynamo, if opponent isn't sure where you are

I am sorry for the late question I hope you will see this. How is thermal ink on dynamo? It seems to trigger very reliably on it, but at the same time I am not sure it’s worth placing over other stuff on the build. Also, do you think stealth jump is a good ability for dynamo?
Oh yeah, thermal ink is quite good on Dynamo, you may not be able to kill anyone in long range, but you can mark them. I don't feel there's much need for Stealth Jump, I would avoid jumping, unless it's safe, because slow swing will only let you trade if it happens.
I dunno really what to use the Dynamo as a role. Like I get it’s defensive but I want to know how to synergy the special with my teammates.
Wish there was more talk about the loadout. I barely use sprinklers and find them more of a drain than they're worth

the weapon doesnt feel the same without mpu and booyah bomb which gave it more killing power

This thing is absolute garbage in salmon run
In a glowflies round, if you hold ZR down as if to roll, the chum just run to their death towards you, and your ink refills in the meantime! Other than that yeah it’s really not that useful in salmon run

400 damage on roll is v useful, Hazmy has a good video about how to get more out of it
