18.5/9/4 are pretty good numbers. The fact that he was a very successful HS QB hints at some toughness, sneaky athleticism and an ability to read the floor. Played 38.5 minutes a game so he probably had to pace himself on D. He's in the right place to get better, at least.

I wanted Kyle Filipowski to help our C depth, but Baylor Scheierman is also good. He's actually gotta prove that he can dominate out there on the parquet first, so hopefully he can replicate all the good things he basically did at Creighton.
The Knicks are basically Celtics wannabes now IMO, after retaining OG Anunoby on a new 5-year deal & strengthening their Villanova core with the crazy Mikal Bridges-Bojan Bogdanovic trade. Like, do the Knicks wanna become Villanova or what!?
Anyways, hopefully we can draft a big man in the 2nd round to help out our C depth, next.

It appears our selection is left-handed. How many incumbent Celtics are lefties? And does it make any tactical difference like pitching in baseball?
It definitely makes a difference and more difficult for defenders
It’s only an advantage if the lefties can use his righty as well. Some lefties are unstoppable anyway (Manu) but it’s often a weakness as they have been allowed easy lefty finishes from bad D on youth teams.

Celtics draft the guy i have circled in red with a "NO!" written over it.
A shorter, less athletic Sam Hauser. That is hard to find. This guy is doughy like Doncic. And i dont know if he can even dunk a basketball.
No size, no length, no lift, no speed, just shooting, and a little craftiness. Sounds like a great player for Europe!
