  • Discovering the Wonders of Murray River Solo Camping while I enjoyed by the bird sounds that echo along the river.
This solo camping trip just that, amazing.
Not only did i have full Murray River frontage, but straight across from my camp was the entrance of the Murrumbidgee River.
I had the best of both worlds when it comes to iconic Australian river systems.
Im not sure if it gets much better than that.
These two solo camping episodes along the banks of the Murray River on the Victorian side, are a couple of the most relaxing trips i have ever been on.
Once again i have cooked all of my meals on the coals of the campfire while enjoying the musical birds sounds that rang out from the Murray River Red Gums above. These amazing sounds of nature really helped to make this Murray River solo camping trip a very relaxing and enjoyable one.
Campfire cooking is the best way to have cooked meals while away camping.
I just love everything about solo camping.

You can not imagine how enjoyable it was, to view your Murray River camping videos, with a cup of tea, in front of the wood fire, while in a Sydney lockdown, with the cold wind blasting and heavy rain outside. So good, that i might just go and watch them all over again. Thanks Tim.

Love watching your videos. It's a wonderful escape for me. I toured Aus in 1988, in a 1973 Holden Kingswood station wagon. Managed 10,000k in 6 months. Had a wonderful time. I'd love to return one day.
Here in the UK, not quite so much space to explore. Always loved camping. I must get a Dutch oven. Your food looks great. Keep up the good work.

      Gday Ian,
Firstly, thanks for dropping in from the Uk mate.
Travelling Australia how you did all those years ago in the iconic Holden Kingswood is such a great story.
It would have been amazing seeing the country back then.
Maybe you’ll get back here one day, maybe not in a Kingswood lol.
      I love campfire cooking.
Thanks a lot for your feedback mate.

Jeez, Tim, there's so much to like about these series of videos. The photography is great. The region is awesome, and so different to the high country to which we are accustomed to seeing you in. With all the current level of restrictions, it's videos like this that give us all, a little escapism. A chance to remember what it's like to live a world away from this current nightmare we find ourselves in. Don't stop making these videos, please.

Hi Tim, UK Paul here again mate. What an awesome followup to your first Murray River solo camp vid. Those bird sounds are incredible and the serenity is out of this world. I was glad to see the steamer out again for the spuds to mash and the more I see you using your trowel for cooking the more I think I need to get one for myself. Worked a treat on the scrambled eggs and bacon. Fantastic vid mate and thanks for sharing again. Take care and cheers.

How many cameras have you set up for your B roll? Or are you continually moving them around for different angles. Lol. Fantastic result though Tim! Really engaging.

@@timbates4wdadventures when this madness ends and our borders are open again, go across the bridge North of Robinvale and continue across the NSW border to the highway. Turn right and drive east for about 10 minutes and you'll find yourself at Lake Benanee. Stay for a sunset and a night. Just fantastic.
