Still one of my favorite channels paiste boy and his friends are great. finally got snow in New Hampshire and hitting the trails with family Thursday. Have a great season be safe looking forward to the videos
My son and I both have 2006 GSX 500 SS's. He has 2800 miles, I turned 6100 last year in Quebec. Both engines original, ~135 psi. I love my 500ss great sled. I run it a hair rich, probably why its doing so well. We just replaced the rear shocks on his. We'll open our trail system this weekend likely!
Awesome vid fellas…..funny shiznit. Bought a new 04 500SS for my wife. Funny story….. In 05 we took it as a spare sled for a RAP Tour. My good Buddy was Ricky Racin’ the SS after his sled burned down. He was following sooo close on the trails - that snow dust packed around the carbs & iced up. Anyhooo, we were standing beside the trail blipping the throttle cause it was rough idling. Sled ripped off down the trail - no rider - ice had jammed the throttle open. Went about 1000’ then off into brambles & small trees. Only damage was some decals & bent up muffler system. Pretty helpless watching a riderless sled…..lol.
Oh Wow! That could have been disastrous! That's happen to me and Zuke on our first sled back in the 1984. Sled wide open until it finally hit a tree at about 65-70 MPH. We got it going again right there. 1973 or 1974 boa ski 440. Scary! Thanks for watching Mattie.
Really clean 500ss. I’d start by checking compression, spark, new plugs, confirm fuel delivery & jets are clean. I blew up my axys 800 and it sounded just like this but got me home 20 miles with 50psi compression on PTO cyl.
Thanks. That sounds like good advice. I could tell immediately that it sounded like it was running on one cylinder but we just wanted to take it for a little rip why there was a few flakes on the ground. It'll The snow will probably be gone in a week. Thanks for watching.
I would recommend flushing the brake fluid on that 500SS. I had my GSX out on Tug Hill this weekend and the caliper locked up from the old fluid in it and it ended up catching fire and melted some stuff. I was able to get it out in time and rectify the problem, but ended up doing a fluid flush back at my truck quick and was fine for the rest of the weekend. I guess the older Rev's are know for it. You can see it happen in my video I posted on my channel. Waiting for your Old Forge video! We took a ride up to Old Forge in the truck on Saturday during the rain event while we couldn't ride. We stayed in Lyons Falls for the weekend at The Edge.
We were just there Monday 1-15-24 and Tuesday 1-16-24. Got home about 8pm last night. I just got home from work and I'm starting to download the footage now.
Right on boys Zuke nice Blizzuke that 500 is in nice shape as well a new set of plugs running on one cylinder isn’t good. Lol 😂. Enjoy your ride in old forge and keep the Rubber side Down. 👍👍🇨🇦🇨🇦❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️
@@Paisteboy I have those years pretty much memorized by the decals. Kind of a geek with that stuff. I still have my O6 Rev. I'm almost at 12000 miles on my 16 800 Blizzard. Compression was great last year. I'll be going to Canada for the Mudbrats get together. Hopefully this sled is still running. I have over 400 miles on it this year. By the end of today I'll have 12000. 😎
I know. This is the only time we would not wear a helmet. A quick test ride. Hard to believe that when we were really young we rode with ski masks and goggles. No helmets.
One of my favorite videos. Nothing like getting together with the boys and working on sleds. It's the best of times.
Thanks Jason. I like these kind of videos as well. I have fun making them too. Thanks for watching.

That is awesome! I appreciate that and enjoy your ride and season as well.
Sounds like your only running on 1 cylinder
It really does. Going to have to dig into that 500ss a little bit more.
There is plenty snow next to the trees. Ride on Brothers!
Yup! Thanks for watching.

That's awesome Craig! You did a lot of work on those sleds. Glad to hear you're putting some miles on them.

Wow. That's scary. I'll mention it to Zuke. We don't need a trail fire added to his tragedies. Thanks Adam.
Got love it! She’s got a new lease on life!
Yup! Thanks for watching.
Have fun on the trails!!!
Thanks
Blizzuke looks like a good machine!
Hey Brian, He loves it!
When do u guys think you’ll be making a trip to old forge
We were just there Monday 1-15-24 and Tuesday 1-16-24. Got home about 8pm last night. I just got home from work and I'm starting to download the footage now.
Omg looks like a circus over there lmao 😅😅😅😅 good fun
It is!! lol. Thanks for watching.
Fun video ! 👍👍
Thank you 🤗
did zuke buy your ol blizzard?
No. Dennis bought my old Blizzard last season. Gary found this one for Zuke over the summer. It's a 2018 Blizzard 600 e-tec.

Thanks 👍 The trails were good in Old Forge and great in Moose River Plains! Thanks for watching tboy.
My 04 500ss 3k on her runs great still booking ny this yr going to see u boys
The trails are not rideable right and I don't think they are going to recover this season.
Plus you have to register each sled in Ny and buy a trail permit for each sled in Old Forge.
@@Paisteboy nice we will see in 25 season

👍
Yes we do love you ripping down the street 🎉
I Want to join you lol
Get your sled out RJ!
Great vids. How about a drum solo on your kit
Thanks. Maybe one day!
It's a 2004. Had a 600ho just like it.
Ok. Thanks for watching.
I saw that right away too. Looks in great shape tho.
@@robertreinhart7557 Yeah. My mistake.

AawwwwYyeeaahhhhh!
👍
I’d like a shirt that says something like “Everyone has a Zuke in their group!”
Can make that happen lol
Lol. I'll see what I can do. Thanks
@@Paisteboy
I can make t shirts
Ok. We can talk about it.
Think you better clean the pilot jets
Yes. Somethings not right. Could be that. Thanks for watching.
HE STILL HAS THE CHOKE ON
Yeah. Carbs probably need another cleaning because of the old gas at the bottom of the tank.
running on 1 cylinder man put some new plugs in
Yeah. That sounds like a great place to start.
No fire in the hole haha :(
Not not fire there. Lol
😂😂😂
Good times!
@Paisteboy when he smoked his track on the driveway I bust out laughing😁
I was too!!! 🤣🤣🤣
Helmets boys....helmets
I know. This is the only time we would not wear a helmet. A quick test ride. Hard to believe that when we were really young we rode with ski masks and goggles. No helmets.
flooded it and fouled a plug
It needs more attention. We just wanted to goof around with it.
Sounds like a fouled plug
Could be. We'll be checking that first. Thanks for watching.
Keep running it on one cylinder, it'll fix itself. Not!
We'll be looking into it before it gets ridden again.
Wow that sounds awful boys.
Yeah. Didn't sound right!
