Sometimes the rich pin works (metadatas appear on the pins and the pin's visibility is greater) but sometimes it doesn't ... I use rich pins validator tool to see if the problem came from the URL but everything seems ok... Have you ever faced the problem? Do you know how to fix it? Hi there! Yes unfortunately I have noticed many glitches when it comes to Pinterest. It's normal. Sometimes all the metadata does not appear right away but then it appears the next day. If you have issues like this, I would contact Pinterest directly. It's very known that it can be glitchy so don't worry. Just keep moving forward and stick to rich pins :) Most of the time it will work out just fine. But yes I recommend letting Pinterest know! It's a common complaint for sure

It's different for everyone because it depends on MANY factors so there is no 1 answer to this :). It took me about a month or so to start seeing sales in my shop after consistently pinning on Pinterest. But again this differs for everyone!
Hi Sandra, your videos are SO helpful. Thank you. I just have a quick question. At 6.20 in your video - where you edit the pin to change the title - I can't do this. There is no option to change the title - the only sections that appear in the pop-up box are: Board, Section and Note to Self. It appears that when you link a rich pin via the chrome extension from your Etsy listing, you are unable to change any of the content. Also, the price doesn't appear in the Pinterest pin. Do you know a way around this or is it simply a case of creating a new pin if you want the title to be different from your Etsy listing? Many thanks in advance. :-)
Great question! I actually think this is an update in Pinterest where you cannot edit the titles of rich pins! I'm not sure if there is a way around it as I have not tested it but you can try contacting Pinterest :). I do believe that it's an update that we can't change though to be honest

Hi Ciara! Yes 100%! I use Pinterest for my email marketing as well - direct them to sign up for my email list. Also a lot of people use it for blogs and even Instagram. So yes you can create multiple high-quality pins that would direct people to either blogs or videos that talk about your course or directly to sign up for your course :)

Hi Irene! I contemplated the same thing when I debated opening a second Etsy shop. I would actually have a separate Pinterest account for each Etsy shop so you can claim them separately :)

Great video. Just wondering... I'm trying not to have to create images specifically for Etsy and then specifically for Pinterest. But, the 2000x3000 (high) size you mentioned does not work well for the thumbnail pic. When you do a search, the thumbnail pics are rectangular horizontally, not vertically. So the 2000x3000 (high) gets cut off. Do you create a separate pic just for the thumbnail so the thumbnail pic looks good?

It could be a glitch or will take time to load. If it's happening for every pin you're trying, I'm wondering if it's an update since I posted this video. Check to see first if it's happening to all your rich pins :)

@@joannapetrykowska7821 yes sometimes pinning manually has some glitches and the information does not show so try using the Chrome extension and pinning directly from your shop

Hi Suzanna! If you claimed your Etsy shop correctly and you have no errors - and you're pinning using the extension, you should not have any issues. However sometimes Pinterest experiences glitches - give it time and it should show up. If it does not, test it with other products. But it should not be a long-term issue. It's typical sometimes for Pinterest to have glitches

Hi! Yes I think you are using the wrong button. There are 2 buttons- there is one that you will find right about the listing images and then there's the chrome extension at the top right on your screen. Thats the one you need to use

Hi! I would recommend having 2000x3000 px images because that's what Pinterest recommends :)

Really clear and down to the point! :) Only today I watched this video and found that I already created rich pins without knowing that they are rich pins :) However they don't include price nor the description from my etsy product page I provided link to. Has anything changed in this matter in recent months?
Hi Joanne! Are you pinning using the chrome extension from your Etsy shop? :) Or pinning the images manually?

@@joannapetrykowska7821 yes sometimes pinning manually has some glitches and the information does not show so try using the Chrome extension and pinning directly from your shop

Dear Sandra, thank you so very much for your super helpful and informative videos! This video helped me a lot to connect my Etsy and Pinterest accounts. I did everything just like you did in the video. the only thing I couldn't fix is the price of my product which is not visible in Pinterest(( The caption and the description are there after I save my product from Etsy to Pinterest but the price is not there... Could you please help me with that?
Hi Suzanna! If you claimed your Etsy shop correctly and you have no errors - and you're pinning using the extension, you should not have any issues. However sometimes Pinterest experiences glitches - give it time and it should show up. If it does not, test it with other products. But it should not be a long-term issue. It's typical sometimes for Pinterest to have glitches

Hi Sandra, thanks for the video! May I know how do I pin all of my etsy listing images (of one particular product) onto 1 pinterest rich pin? When I share the etsy listing, only the first product image of my etsy listing is shown on my pinterest. I have seen other sellers pinning multiple pages for one single pin. How do they do that ?
My Etsy shop , or better Etsy itself, doesn't show as an option when i try to claim my website. What can I do about that? Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thank you Sandra. Very useful information. I have one question though. I set up the rich pins and I created one 2:3 image for my listings. But when I use rich pins, it doesn't send them to pinterest as 2:3. Instead it sends the thumbnail view picture. Am I doing something wrong?
Hi! Yes I think you are using the wrong button. There are 2 buttons- there is one that you will find right about the listing images and then there's the chrome extension at the top right on your screen. Thats the one you need to use

I have a question, i converted my account to a business account as you said Problem is that when i am trying to Claim my Etsy store, I only see the option for the website. I cant see Instagram, Etsy, or youtube ( like you do) Do you have any idea why?
I've heard this issue before and I'm wondering if it's a new update - best option would be to contact Pinterest directly :). I'm wondering if you can put your Etsy link as your website though?

Hello, so when I do the second part ( Pinterest extension) every time I click on that it takes me to a Pinterest part that ask me to sign up and when I do I cant do what you are saying....in order to pin from etsy the way you are showing do we need to pay for the marketing on Pinterest?
