Thank you Katie, I love your videos. I followed your advice a while back and have been creating story pins. I've created 6 and 3 of them have really taken off. Lots of views and pins, much more than my article pins. I'm learning what people like when it comes to story pins but It's such a bummer that they don't take you to the blog. I would love to get the traffic from those but they have helped get me new Pinterest followers.
That is awesome! CONGRATS on your story pin success - so happy to hear that. 🥳 Yeah, I know. I wish they would have a link, too - maybe this will change in the future...
Hey Cassia, so if the blog and the store are on the same domain, then yes, no problem. If you have a separate domain for the blog, make sure you've claimed both accounts in your Pinterest settings and then add the Pinterest Rich Pin code to your blog. In my opinion, this should work. :)
Hey Pamela, so you have to first apply to get Story Pins in your country. Please read all about how to use and create story pins here help.pinterest.com/en/business/article/story-pins. I don't have a specific video on creating story pins yet, but it's on my list for future videos, so keep watching out for that. 💛
When creating an animated image in Canva and pinning it via Canva's built-in interface, what type of pin is that considered? Article? Video. I guess if it's technically an animated GIF it could be classified as either?
Do you have advice for people wanting to promote a book on Amazon or print on demand products on etsy? I want to do article pins that link to my products on etsy/amazon page. Example: list of best ways to use this notebook. The link would lead them to amazon or etsy where my product is.
Hey Mica, so the most important thing is understanding the intent of people clicking on your pins. I would be a bit annoyed if I clicked on a pin that said "list of best ways to use this notebook." and be redirected to a purchase page for the notebook. My intent on clicking the pin was to read a list or a blog post. So I would recommend you create product pins instead where you clearly state that this pin leads to the place where they can buy the specific notebook. Or you consider starting a blog and then create posts around the products you want to promote in your shop or on amazon. Does this make sense? Let me know.
Hey Omar, product pins are intended for people with an online store as they show up to date prices from their shop. But you can still create a regular article pin with an image and link your affiliate link there. Does that make sense?
I watch all of your videos because; I love your melodious voice, I love your innocent eyes, I love your golden hairs, I love your Attractive smile; Can we be friends ^_^ #Misskatie Your loved one! ☺️

Talk too much but not talked about how to create article pin. How to get price on the product pin.
