- Highlights of the historic match at Vetch Field, Swansea, on May 3rd 2003, which the Swans had to win to preserve their league status. Failure to win would have seen them relegated to the Conference, and the return of the good days (including the new stadium) would probably never have happened.
RIP Lenny Johnrose
Now see where both of these clubs are! IT's great to see. These are true football stories, not billionaires spending hundreds of millions on egotistical players
Exactly
"Forget about Wembley, forget about promotions and forget about life in the top flight"
Bloody hell how far we've come....

I was at this game in the away end. I remember walking down the street afterwards, congratulating the home fans, and then drinking until the early hours of Sunday morning. Normally I wouldn't have dared as there was always a risk of trouble at the Vetch, but that was a fantastic day. I was rooting for you on Sunday too. A lot's changed at both clubs since that day.
I don't know if you can see this ? If so give us a nod .. Now 11 years have past... 😮
Twenty years later and I'm still a bag of nerves watching this game.
Leon Britton. True Legend.
Neil cutler was in goals for the swans he played a big part in helping the swans stay up.
RIP Lenny Johnrose
4-2, a hat-trick with two penalties in an extremely important match. sound familiar?
Watching this after being at Wembley yesterday helps me to remember what we are and where we come from
What I wouldn't give to stand on the north bank again.
I agree with you there mate. I hardly ever used to miss a home game, and in recent years didn't think I needed a season ticket because the Liberty was rarely over two-thirds full ! How wrong I was. Where did all those plastic fans come from ?
Have to say it's some achievement considering they won the League Cup today...
swansea till i die
All I can say is 'I was there'

The first ever game I remember. I was only 6 and it was one of the greatest experiences, since then I’ve been a long term season ticket holder, ten years and counting. Absolutely love this game.
I will never EVER forget this game! I took my wife, my 6 month old daughter and my 11 year old brother to their first game, just in case the swans failed to win! Now, all 3 are massive Jacks for life (although, not as much as me!). Still need to pinch myself when I see us the PL when the memories of Crewe and Carlisle away are still fresh...
We’re so close now!!!! Back to the prem
It was only 2 days ago that we were extremely unlucky to beat Napoli by at least 4-0.
RIP, Lenny Johnrose.

With all due respect if you had a season ticket in the championship before we went up, it was very easy and simple to renew your ticket. £275 for mine in the first season in the prem for renewing. Had another person next to be get a ST fairly easily too at the time too who had not previously been a ST holder.
Dodgey Pens! Very spawny.
Youl soon be out of the football league haha. CCFC pride of wales the capital and dont you lot forget it 💯🙌🏽
Shaun Darmanin why you watching Swansea videos? 😂😂
You’ll either end up getting relegated this season from the prem or one of the next seasons. Swim away you Cardiff twat. 🏊♂️
