My sons chain broke on his 125 Chinese bike the other day and now it won’t start. The stater cover did break. Do I need to pull the flywheel and check the stater plate? I thought the stater was the little magnetic thing attached to the Fly wheel cover that also has a little piece screwed in. Sorry I don’t know much about these but I do want to learn. Bike does not have spark.
Is it bad to run it without the stator coil cover I had the same problem but my magnet thing broke completely off I jb welded it back and bike now runs but now I can’t get the original cover or the new one on
I have a smiler question my pitbike 110cc lost a spark so went to the magneto n loads coil wire was hanging out the side we've got the flywheel off to fit new stator plate but cant get the coil off any ideas

Did you fix?
If you can't remove screws, just use an impact driver or try carefully hammer a screwdriver and turn it at the same time
Just wired a headlight up to mine and the light is very dim also did you ever figure it out
No never figured out head light problem. To fix I think best just to buy new aftermarket stator
Thats a dirt nasty apollo 007
The word solder. Not 'sodder'.
