I think it's worth pointing out that Russel Wilson played the entire game while the Dolphins took out their starters at the end of the 3rd quarter and even had the bottom of the bench guys in there in the 4th. The Broncos O with Russel Wilson couldn't score against Miami's D with all of it's third stringers and the Dolphins didn't score at all the last 8 minutes of the game.
As soon as the ball is snapped, backpedal deeper than your massive pre snap cushion even was, then wait for Hill to run up to you and past you, then run after him all the way to the end zone after he catches the ball with 10 yards of separation from you 😂
I've re-watched that play like 25 times. The linebacker in the center of the scene is so lost. He points left, then points right, then runs right, as the play goes left.
I’m a Panthers fan, so maybe I’m a bit biased, but Sean Payton has never struck me as an amazing HC. While the team has always drafted well (2017, for example) and had one of the greatest QBs of all time for 15 years, they only won one super bowl by purposely targeting and trying to injure players (Bountygate). I’m glad that the Dolphins exposed Sean Payton’s lack of flexibility and adjustments (which are necessary to be a good HC) to the NFL world on Sunday, especially after he was talking that much smack about Tua.
@NoBody-pw3kf Ejiro Eviro (then DC) only gave up the most points against the Raiders in week 4. But he wouldn't see a top 5 passing offense until week 14 against the Chiefs and Mahomes. Payton has the Broncos offense scoring more points than last season by week 3. But he made the wrong choice picking his DC *AND* had to take on a Fins offense this season.
Not all Bronco fans are delusional. I said he was the media savvy slimmer version of Mark Mcarthy and the Bronco org would regret it before the season kicked off. Got absolutely killed in the comment section. You are not biased you are just quoting facts. Payton lined up the scapegoats before the season started starting with Wilson when coaching is the problem. Broncos offence sputters in the second half in all games no half time adjustments and obviously defence non existent
The sad thing is that if you adjust to Miami's style, Mike McDaniels will adjust immediately and embarrass you anyway. 70 is a bit much but look, Sea coached when fullbacks played, and even won some games by using the fullback. He is in waaay over his head with guys like McDaniels and Shanahan around and I'd bet he will quit on Denver this offseason just like he quit on Orleans.
Broncos are also the same team that allowed George Kittle to have 210 receiving yards and almost broke Shannon Sharpe’s receiving yards record back in 2019
Yes but there was some coaching employed that’s why half time adjustments shut Kittle down for the second half. They don’t bother with half time adjustments which resulted in 70 points for the Dolphins and barely any second half offence in all their games!
Russell Wilson is learning why you never go to the team that your defense obliterated in a super bowl. He's seeing what it's like to be on the receiving end on a weekly basis.
After I read that Sean Payton had accepted the head-coaching position in Denver I wrote he was taking a huge risk. Obviously his story isn’t necessarily finished there but he had a QB that was very highly paid and underperforming, lack of draft picks because of the trade to get that quarterback, and potentially a bad salary-cap position for awhile to boot. I think the Carolina job was open, and so was the Indy job, and there was a better chance of success with either of those franchises. If this doesn’t work out Payton’s legacy will be trashed. I think that Payton does have a big ego and maybe he figured he could turn around the Broncos faster than a rodeo expert. Well, we will see if he can stay on the Bull for more than eight seconds.
And the thing is, I assumed he took his temporary retirement to avoid that kind of mess back in New Orleans. Their cap situation was also shit, they ended paying a pretty hefty price to draft Chris Olive and they were seriously going to bank on Jameis Winston being Drew Brees successor.

Almost literally it’s the same place calling as Sean Payton used to use for Drew Brees with the less talent ever since Colson retired The Dolphins are nightmare for any team they play
IMO The Niners did it best. Chargers had it luck out for them last season but this season Staley was def not ready for the adjustments. Niners pressed well in the 2nd half (even if they got burnt), but had their front 4 win often to pressure Tua. As well as having Warner patrol the underneath stuff and even being able to run with the Fins receivers.
“Tua has one of the fastest Time-to-Throw(s) (TT) in the league.” You’re more than right about that. Usually his TT time is around 2.6 but I looked just this last week and he is sitting at around 2.35 I believe, quicker than Brady’s was at 2.5. And Tua’s Load-to-Release (LTR) is one of the quickest in history at just over 0.3 - Tua’s average LTR is even supposedly quicker than Marino’s was - so Tua is kind of a “dual-threat” kind of guy with both low TT and LTR numbers. Add on top of that his accuracy on short-to-intermediate routes and uncanny ability to bounce outside the pocket and deliver a dart then, well, the defense has a big problem. (San Francisco did a very good job last year against Tua but they had Bosa chasing him around. And there aren’t too many Nick Bosa’s out there that I can think of.)
Tua's TT stats along with his high ADOT is anomalous as a stat pairing. In part because of the receiver talents he has throwing to. Which as you pointed out is helped with Tua's lightning fast release akin to many play action style QBs.
The chargers tried to disrupt miami's timing by playing press. they were burned and made numerous adjustments. you can't just press at the line and expect an NFL offense to collapse.
You say if they are thrown off of their timing... All the WRs and RBs are on timing. Tua's excellence is knowing where the 2nd and 3rd reads are due to that timing. A lot of times, you cant take away all of that.
You say Denver didn’t watch the film, did you? In the Patriots game almost all of Tuas completions were outside the numbers. So this “they can only throw in the middle” narrative is complete crap.
My dad used to say “they must be on drugs” whenever a professional team gets humiliated and I thought he was exaggerating but after looking at the blown coverage by Kareem Jackson….I have to ask…was that boy high???
Watching this post 1am games on week 4. Just how bad is the broncos defense that Justin Fields looked like a competent QB for most of the game and then just how bad are the bears to allow the broncos to win 😅
We'll learn a lot more today against the Bills. The Chargers defense in general just looks like a joke under Staley this year, the Patriots actually did a good job keeping that offense from scoring at will, and the Broncos are...the Broncos. If the offense sings to the tune of another good game, though, that could be a very different story.
It’s a very clever play. But the rbs can look forward to getting absolutely blasted by the DEs of every team for the rest of the season every time they run it.

As easy as it is to blame Sean Payton for this.... We have a took a real hard look at their defensive coordinator Vance Joseph.
More TDs than Incompletions is insanity!
McDaniels worked for Kyle Shanahan. Kyle loves the quick in breakers. Sean Payton should have known this.
Sean Payton can just play this video for Vance Joseph before he fires him
When I first saw the score, I thought it was a typo. Then I thought they must have scored on defense or special teams. Then I watched the highlights.
Great play design & execution
The defensive coordinator for the Broncos is Vance Joseph
This game looked bad live, but once broken down here… it just makes it look even worse. Lol. Just getting ripped apart by the same
Run play over and over. Lol
Almost literally it’s the same place calling as Sean Payton used to use for Drew Brees with the less talent ever since Colson retired
The Dolphins are nightmare for any team they play
Payton isnt a great coach. all this love for him because he had Drew Brees carry his ass to a title
Nah it was a pity title for Katrina victims aided by bountygate.
Trying to take away the middle of the field worked last year (see LAC game) but MIA has all the counters this year…
IMO The Niners did it best. Chargers had it luck out for them last season but this season Staley was def not ready for the adjustments. Niners pressed well in the 2nd half (even if they got burnt), but had their front 4 win often to pressure Tua. As well as having Warner patrol the underneath stuff and even being able to run with the Fins receivers.
nooooo you did this man dirty 🤣🤣
Dolphins: Good. Broncos: Wretched.
Love to see the new thumbnails!
Thanks!
Now I see why christian gonzalez is so hyped up tyreek is terrifying and gonzo practically shut him down
Nathaniel Hackett was laughing at that one
This is coaching failure, the players were so unprepared. I guess they got lost in the Miami party scene 😂😂
As a Saints fan, it’s hard to watch my favorite coach go out like that.
Another stellar breakdown by Alex.
Thank you!
Bronocs vs bears about to be a banger tmmr
Enver needs to fire Vance Joseph RIGHT NOW.
Vance Joseph is a leader of men!
The Dolphins could have scored 90 if they wanted to
The chargers tried to disrupt miami's timing by playing press. they were burned and made numerous adjustments. you can't just press at the line and expect an NFL offense to collapse.
Oh wow I didn’t no that the 2 flip td passes was a new variation of the spider 2 y banana. Interesting
I think this whole game was the football equivalent of beating the dead horse after it is nothing but bones meme.
I still remember watching Dan Marino last game…. Jax hung 62 on em!
This was way worse lol!
4:23 "but disappears faster then skip bayless' ratings" 😭😭😭😭
You say if they are thrown off of their timing... All the WRs and RBs are on timing. Tua's excellence is knowing where the 2nd and 3rd reads are due to that timing. A lot of times, you cant take away all of that.
"What JUST happened?"
The game was 1 week ago lol
Yo where do you get that film from? I’d love to review games from those angles 😅
Nfl all 22 from nfl game pass or pff
@@dinoman4655 thx
As a Bucs fan, I enjoy watching Payton got cooked
You say Denver didn’t watch the film, did you? In the Patriots game almost all of Tuas completions were outside the numbers. So this “they can only throw in the middle” narrative is complete crap.
Johnny Depps bed sheets 😂
Wild how many mcjesus s there are
My team was, uh, defeated 77-0 by Oklahoma in the early 2000s and our guys mostly tried.
TFW you're at home and you realise you were the closest man to Tyreek Hill...
"Shit, was I meant to defend him?"
And you would think there d should be one of the good things on that team and then they thought Broncos D let’s let us ride for 70 points
Honestly don’t see the chiefs stopping them. Their motion is too insane.
Broncos country, let’s ride
