Bullet proof kit, definitely. I've seen these run in the civics and make good power. Too expensive for me though. Maybe in a few years I'll get my hands on one of these.
Great video and very informative. A few questions though- What setup would you suggest that will ensure reliability and longevity for an every day driver? I understand that with the right modifications, the engine can produce a lot of power but at what cost? Have you had to replace cylinder heads or rods on any of the F20 motors you have supercharged?
Hey u can get the c30 kit from kraftwerks and run a delicious tuning ecutek flash and go kit. My friend runs it with e85 with ark grip exhaust with stack headers and injectors and he makes 260 to 310 depending on his tune.
Awesome - Great video and clarification of the product and the Pros of going with this kit. We have 3 on each of our shop cars and no problems and great usable power.
Hey guys and everyone that works at kraftwerks. I was wondering if this supercharger ( c30 and/or c38) is 50 state smog and carb legal. I do know it takes alot of money and time to issue a carb for these superchargers but jackson racing (my second choice) has rotrex and vortech is both 50 state carb legal. Cant wait to here a answer soon! I am waitng for a few months now... Thanks very much
Have you tuned / tested your kit with roz 98 octane fuel. Here in germany we have either 95, 98 or 100 octane fuel. E85 is not so common and subaru germany tells to run roz98 as default on the BRZ. Cheers
Great presentation, im currently working in phases on my 2013 Frs. I have completed the suspension from coils to braces. I wanted to add some powere, but wanted to ask about this kit. In the past it was highly recommended to get internal work done to keep your build in one piece. Is this not the case with this kit. Can i run stock internals on low boost and still achieve 200+ hp and high torque output? Please let me know and also where i cab review this kind of set up and you will have a new cust.
What is the torque response difference between the c30 and c38 in the rpm range? Is it instant for both? Thanks for the video. I was trying to decide on which rotrex system for my frs. Due to your video i'm going to buy your product. With all the pros/cons of different rotrex system yours is most well thought out. The only con is the intake filter location. Intake filter within the bumper is the best location. But the pain of taking off the bumper every so many miles will be a pain. And the possibility of bumper not to fit perfectly is highe after certain amouht of install/uninstall. Is there an option to locate the filter within the bay or do i have to modify it myself?
Eddie Adorno needing performance camshafts to run out kit could not be any further from the truth. You do NOT need cams to safely run a Kraftwerks supercharger kit.
+Thomas Papsidero He's just saying you won't be getting anywhere near 400 at the wheels on 91 with a stock engine with 91 octane. You just dial timing back and run lower boost and it should be fine. IMO, 250-300 would be about perfect for this car as a daily.
And if I had the money.. Can anyone tell me, why go supercharger over turbo, or vice versa? Nice about Turbo's, you can change boost levels on the fly, less stress on the motor - from what I hear, but you have to wait for boost to kick in. Supercharger, instant, but harder on the motor.. Which is the better decision? ( daily driver - summer only )
I would personally recommend a supercharger since mostly of it is plug and play. Which means its more reliable over turbos. However turbos dont cause as much stress to the engine as superchargers do, causing for more efficiency and better mpg (has a dd) but u have to maintain turbos alot more then superchargers. Turbos also often fail more than superchargers. I heard a guy with a turbo kit fucked up his engine and ruined bis exhaust system... Something to consider
Someone told me I would need performance cams to run this kit in the car or my engine would blow, I know this isn't true but I would like a professional answer as proof
+William Ward check edelbrock's eforce brz/frs supercharger kit. carb legal and if you move you can get a better tune for more torque/horsepower. that's what I'm saving up for
Devon Beynon we ship internationally, you can get a kit sent to South Africa, no problem!

Can you please make a video on how to properly install your supercharger kit on a 2015 Civic si 2.4L?
this the best supercharger video ive seen.
Wish we could get this kit in South Africa!
can you guys do a video on the s2000 install?

Great looking kit, wish it was available with the tune for the $4k range not $5k. Id buy one tomorrow if that was the case.

Lov it and well explained!

Will you guys be releasing any C38 race kits for bseries?

can this be used as a daily? & can I use different headers or any type of headers?
Man if y'all made a kit for the 5.7 tundra it would outsell the competition. I could sell a 100 unit. In a month
Can you guys pleas make a supercharger for the 9th Gen R18
Link? To product? Or lost of stuff needed?
Why don't u guys make one for the 2011+ tc -_-
were's the overview for the civic si ???!!
Is the kraftwerks supercharger kit compatible with 2016 brz and CDs?
Yes
So you can daily this car on 91?
Eddie Adorno needing performance camshafts to run out kit could not be any further from the truth. You do NOT need cams to safely run a Kraftwerks supercharger kit.
so is this 50 state legal? I'm going to buy one in 2 months I'dk if I should buy this or edelbrock
Is this a reliable option?
i plan on adding a supercharger and exhaust to my 2015 automatic? will daily driving give me issues? do i need any other upgrades?
don't do it on a daily if you plan on driving it as your daily for a long time . it makes your car less reliable and it's just a pain in the ass
So, pretty much you are saying that is safer to run the supercharger with e85?
+Le Enderman wait the tuner that comes with the kit retards the timing?
where can i buy ah supercharger for my toyota 86 2017 im form PR
Almost like they didn't know jackson racing would come out with a better kit for the c-38 with zero belt issues unlike this one lol
Do u have a kit for an rx8 internals fully built
how does one "build" a rotary engine? just add another dorito and it's built no?
Lajcsi Vagyok you build it by adding better seals(all types apex, water, oil, etc) also porting it, and adding stronger parts to the rotor itself
So your saying you can't daily a setup with 91 octane?

Change them ic endtanks!

Well once the funds are in place I'll be getting this system. Unless someone would like to sponsor me and my car. ;)
very interesting!
400 hp ? niiiiice
500hp on stock brz engine😂😂
Yeah right?!?! for about 2 dyno pulls then blows up.
@@sebo123159 you need to build the engine of course
Still not carb legal.
+William Ward check edelbrock's eforce brz/frs supercharger kit. carb legal and if you move you can get a better tune for more torque/horsepower. that's what I'm saving up for
Kraftwerks kits are complete peices of shit. Pick something else people, promise you you won't be happy for long.
Makes no sense? Kraftwerks and Edelbrock Eforce are the best supercharger kits for the platform and money.
