- Hi! Welcome to Season 2! I'm so excited about this video and all the videos I have planned this year. (I've got an AMAZING year planned!)
To start out the year, we are making a trip to the Little Red River to relax in our favorite vacation rental. We haven't been here since summer so it will be fun to be here during the holidays.
You can check out that rental here:

Also, we get to see the Trumpeter Swans for the first time!! They arrive at Magness Lake every November since the 1990s and depart around mid-February. Some people think they got blown off course in the 90s and that's why they wintered in Heber Springs. Lucky for us, they keep coming back!
"Arkansas is a part of the Trumpeter Swans’ historic wintering range, but the species was extirpated by the early 1900s. In January 1991 three immatures were documented at Magness Lake. Four adults arrived the following winter, and ever since numbers have fluctuated but increased until this has become the largest and most consistent wintering flock of Trumpeters in the southern US." -delta.audubon. org/
Finally, we will visit the site of the Swinging Bridge tragedy before we race a winter storm home.
This is going to be fun!
Thank you for watching!

Glad to see you back
Well, thank you! I didn't think anyone would notice I was gone so I didn't mention anything. My old laptop just couldn't edit videos anymore so I had to order a new one which turned out to be glitchy. Long story short, I was on the road for 2 weeks so I just had to hold off on everything until I got home. I hope you like the video!
My grandma used to say that if a cardinal keeps coming back it is good luck. So god look on your other travels. @@AllAboutArkansasTravels
Thank you so much!

Seeing those two-lane roads again is amazing. Wonderful!
They are special, aren't they? 💛
Sweet Little Red!!!!!!!!
One of my favorite rivers!!
Been by it just not fished it!!!! I fished the norfork white and buffalo
The same day you were driving back home from this trip I was driving home to Pea Ridge from Russellville. I decided to drive over the Pig Trail Scenic Byway. It snowed pretty heavily on me. I was thankful to be in my Jeep with four wheel drive. It was sure beautiful!!!
Oh wow! I bet it was beautiful but I would be so nervous! I was white-knuckle driving the whole way home
Another wonderful video! Thanks for taking us along with you. 😊
Thank you for watching!
Good video. Is that an Arkansas accent you have?
