Right off the BAT, at 2:35, I spied with my little eye the vertical print of a lady with a guy looking over her shoulder. Loved that, as well as the motion lamp, if that was the correct term. Great scene on that.
I just recently found your videos (from thrifty rich...). I have watched a few of them so far and I am addicted!! My husband and I enjoy watching the antique roadshow, and I feel like you are an on the road version of that show, you explain things so well, you have a very pleasant speaking voice and you are knowledgeable about so many things. Thanks for your channel!!
Oh thank you that's quite a compliment! I want to share info and Discovery with people so they can find the same joy in it that I do. Yvon is great and I'm meeting her tomorrow to go thirift
@@TheAntiqueNomad Great! I am looking forward to that video. The last time you met with her and she film, is when I 'found' you. I am really learning a lot from you. Thank you for putting out these videos.
George it was so wonderful to meet you and I love both the of the pieces I have bought from you they are gorgeous and I couldn't be happier. I see that you are already in Colorado! Amazing, wishing you all the best always. I feel like I made a new friend. As always safe travels.
I love to watch old classical movies where I find myself more interested in the decor..... I remember I Love Lucy Ivy dishes....and I loved all the old lamps in the Western movies I have a couple...and as a teenager I to worked in an Antique shop ... I'm crazy for vintage/Antiques.
I have been to that mall and it is indeed massive and so fun to go through. It’s so fun to hear that you started your career there! Thank you for highlighting it.
Love the Antique Valentine's cards. I don't think I've ever found any that old before. They are beautiful. Thanks for the tour. I'll have to visit sometime.
Thanks for the great video. I think I was there many years ago. It looks vaguely familiar. I think the jingle that went with the Hamm's beer commercial was what made the bear so popular. I can't get it out of my head now. Thanks again.
Loved loved loved this video George. So many amazing things inside, I would want it all lol. Thankyou so much for making this video for us. I’ve been in quarantine for so long but felt I was there by your side. Be safe😷
Just beautiful! You have the most amazing array of collectibles! I could spend several days shopping in your booth alone, before going into other stores in the mall.
thanks george! need togo for a good ole hamm beer, now i wannabe a singing "who let the dogs out" drunken bear! i miss looney toons! great mall tour, made me wanna go visit
This place is awesome and your section is just beautiful and brimming with treasures! I would love to visit and just get lost in this place! Thanks for showing this and all the valuable information! You always inspire me to learn more!
This place is wonderful and hopefully one day I will get to see it. Amazing just simply amazing. Thanks for letting me tag along with you and showing me this one. You have a great day and safe travels too
WAIT! The Antique Nomad is in my neck of the woods? I thought you resided in The Crazy Lamp Lady's area? Well, I guess you really are a Nomad! How cool is that?! TY for reminding me about the Star Center, I missed it last time I went to Snohomish (this was after things started opening back up after the pandemic hit). This Mall was built the year my mother (RIP Momma!) was born. I love this place. HAPPY HUNTING!!!
@@TheAntiqueNomad Nice, you guys put out great content. Please know that while things have been shut down here, it's been a BIG stress relief to watch you thrifting! This has been a crazy year, and I'm so glad that found this video. I'm going to head up to Star Center soon!
@@TheAntiqueNomad We had a place in Index on the river too, best fishing hole on the Sky! Best memory was a midnite ski at Stevens Pass. Worst memory, selling a thrifted trivet at a Gold Bar Garage Sale and finding it for sale the next month at the Gold Bar Antique store for over $150... Ugh. But it got me interested in the value of antiques, so I guess it was a good lesson learned!
We love Snohomish, can’t believe we missed the mall on our last trip. Guess we’ll have to check it out next time. Great booth... so many goodies! Love that French provincial piece.
That's a fantastic antique mall! I love the Royal Vienna vase you have in you space! The decanter set behind the 1920's talc tin is beautiful. Really like the Persian inlaid piece. There looks to be a ton of work in that. The rooster chimney topper is fantastic! I have a thing about old chimneys, and that really piqued my interest! The French Provincial cupboard is OTT fantastic. It a definite "WOW!" piece, for sure. I have a pretty good collection of the die cast airplanes...packed away somewhere. I've always liked the planes better than the die cast cars. The prices there seem really good. There were a lot of pieces that would seriously make me consider buying. Great video! Thanks for the tour!!!
Hi Mark! I'm so glad you enjoyed it, I knew the price on that cabinet would blow your mind. The Royal Vienna is so nicely done, but everything they made was. I've never come across an older die cast plane collection but hope to someday. Thanks for coming along!
@@TheAntiqueNomad The price on that cabinet seemed a give-away price, to me. The craftsmanship and handwork that went into it seriously deserves more appreciation than it gets. I do love Royal Vienna! How much are you asking for that piece? I tried to read the tag on it, (I had the video on full-screen), and thought it had $45.00 on it, but couldn't make it out for sure. I've not looked at my die cast planes in quite some time, but I think there are several from the 60's in the lot. I do know there is a later one of the jumbo jet that carried the space shuttle on it's back. I have the plane and the shuttle. They're all in a box somewhere here. That mall had interesting items in every corner! Thanks for taking us along!!!
Showing the porcelain female figures: "Hopefully I won't be demonetized". *eyeroll* What does that say about this country? Crazy. Some of the Florence figures remind me a little Cleminson (another pottery I've collected). I've met Jack Chipman at a pottery show in San Jose. I learned a lot about collecting from the book you showed. I like the look of your own booth--nice. I'm growing addicted to watching your videos because we haven't been out doing this in this year :-/ The French armoire is stunning!
Hi, Evan! I'm glad to see you in the comments again. I hope you get out soon but I'm glad to be taking you with me in the meantime. I like Cleminson's as well, similar colors and clays but more fanciful designs than Florence
I am a fan and enjoy your work. This comment is about something you shared six months ago so why say anything now but here goes. The pink plastic coat hanger at the window holding what looked like a vest... no, just no. I am sure you know what I am talking about, from my heart. Your work is fabulous. Thank you for your time.
Hello my friend. This is not Leith. She was bad so youtube banned her. Yep censorship. But what can you do. They will keep her shut up, if they can. She's got a lawyer who's got a whole bunch of people who are planning a class action lawsuit. So she gonna have money, she thinks. Lol. Great show.
An elderly dealer friend of mine took me to the Snohomish tea room and introduced me to that pleasure! I then made everyone do it when we took the cruise to Victoria, BC where the Empress Hotel has it daily

How fun and how cool that you got exposed to this at a young age when some really neat stuff was available that we don't see much anymore!
Oh my George! Isn't it funny that someone would have that beautiful rooster on their roof? Wow!
Crazy, it would seem, but so fun!

5 floors of complete wonderfulness! I so need to adventure that way!💐
Oh yes! There's also a bunch of other good Antique and vintage in that town
What a wonderland, a city that has so many antique stores. This city is like Disneyland for antique and vintage lovers. Thanks George 🌻🌼🌿🌞
Yes indeed! Washington's lucky to have two towns like that
