That hand signal can truly save lives. My husband and I had no idea that the DV/ danger sign was a thing but one day he was driving thru a neighborhood and saw a young girl about 12 walking and there was a car following slowly behind her. He thought it was odd so he stopped and watched to see if it was a parent or something picking her up but the driver of the other car started talking to her and she saw my husband out of the corner of her eye and started doing that sign behind her back! My husband didn’t know it was a thing but he knew she was asking for help so he got out of his car and offered to walk her the rest of the way. She was so scared and said she lived only a few streets up and she was going to see a friend and this car wouldn’t stop following her and asking if she wanted to “party” with him. It was so scary to think what could have happened if my husband wasn’t there!!! He made sure there was an adult at the friend’s house because the guy in the car was pissed but didn’t drive away right away. He pulled up a street and watched to see where she was going!!!! Thankfully once the man realized an adult was home he sped off!!!

Lots of strangeness in my neck of the woods (Wisconsin) lately. Krystal Rasch, Sharon Miller and her son Jami Lumby found deceased on their property last week (being investigated as homicides) and there was just a double murder/suicide not far from me last night. And Tara Jane Sullivan is still missing under suspicious circumstances since April 2023, no leads, completely baffling.
I was sick throwing up on 4th of July with no alcohol I got too hot waiting to buy fireworks and so busy ; oh my - I missed this. Hugs hope all had a great day still enjoyed our gathering fireworks show! Love to all !

I haven't heard anything about this case. Beaver dam is less than an hour from where I live. Thank you for covering this case. Wisconsin has very open public records. You just gotta know where to look.
Even with the cost of anything lately, I still don’t see how I could spend that much on cleaning supplies, unless he purchased a really nice vacuum, carpet shampoo machine, etc. It would still be difficult to spend that much!

Another case in my home state 😱. Since I’ve got so much family in Wisconsin, I shared the phone number with family that live near where this case takes place. They’ve not heard of it and they don’t know anyone in this case though. But because these counties population wise are relatively small, they may have friends that do. I like when social media and spreading the word can help us solve cases. I’m so glad that police are being extra careful in what they release and also I do love how protective they are of the family. So sad. I’m happy we have a dumb criminal here and I’m sure they have an airtight case to put this guy away forever. Just sad Crystal wasn’t able to get away safely. I’m so sorry to Crystal’s family and friends. We have to do better to protect anyone in a DV relationship that is trying to get out.

I am a friend of Crystal and her family. I live in Reeseville Wisconsin. Yes her step mother reported her missing. We all knew right away he did something to her. Myself and her family posted her picture as missing etc days before the sheriff made any comment or shared any info on her
Cannot believe he kept the receipts of his mad cleaning supplies shopping spree. Just in case he had to return some unused tarp or something, you know? All snark aside, this case hits close to home as I have a VERY close family member who has been trying to escape a bad situation for years. It's horrendous both for the victim and for family watching, a constant panic that something just like this could happen. For the outcome to then end up like this is just absolutely heartbreaking and terrifying. Abusers sicken me to my very core - whether it be IPV/DV or SA/CSAM. They all deserve their very own corner in hell.
People don't necessarily hold up their hand when doing the distress signal, so one should just watch the hands, in general. Hand could be hanging down when the signal is given. And actually, it might be easier for the person to give the signal if they don't have to worry about the perpetrator seeing it. I'm sure these perpetrators are on to the signal.

I'm curious @GrizzlyTrueCrime why you only focus on cases in the USA? I would like to hear cases you your neck of the woods, South Africa, really just around the world in general. These types of cases happen everywhere not just in the USA.
1. My audience is 90% American..I've covered cases from all over the world before, few are interested. 2. Other countries do not have press conferences, accessibility to documents, live trials/cameras in courtrooms. So it's obvious why America is so popular when it comes to true crime; in South Africa or Switzerland or EU in general, there is minimal information for the public and therefore nothing to talk about.
It totally amazes me even after watching different content creators who do crime investigations that these monsters actually think they can have a future outside of a prison!! Dude, if do the crime then you can count on spending the rest of your life in jail or on the run w no way of living anywhere or enjoying life~ SMH

I'm curious @GrizzlyTrueCrime why you only focus on cases in the USA? I would like to hear cases you your neck of the woods, South Africa, really just around the world in general. These types of cases happen everywhere not just in the USA.
1. My audience is 90% American..I've covered cases from all over the world before, few are interested. 2. Other countries do not have press conferences, accessibility to documents, live trials/cameras in courtrooms. So it's obvious why America is so popular when it comes to true crime; in South Africa or Switzerland or EU in general, there is minimal information for the public and therefore nothing to talk about.
