Another important point I think is the type of scenarios in which you want to use each camera, I love shooting at night and a few weeks ago I was shooting with my F6 at 4k 120fps (T1.5, iso 2500, 180°) and the image was still excellent even in such low light conditions, something impossible to do with the Komodo.
Clients cant tell the difference. I purchased (3) E2-S6 for my company and they have paid themselves 100x over. I will stick to Zcam for a 3rd year and see what else comes out. I usualy keep Cameras for 3-5 years.
Z cam is better than the red Komodo red just has established a name. Way cheaper full frame same shape no calibrating to get good image and image quality is basically the same everything else is nit picking
Prores RAW is a pretty new codec, not very supported. R3D is universal, it's supported in all NLE's. The Z-cam can shoot up to 4k 100fps which is pretty neat, also no crop in 4k 60p. I agree though the RED is nicer overall but not for everyone and yeah its pricey. The new F6 pro would be tempting against a Komodo though, what do you think of that one?
I've dreamed of owning a Z-Cam for years now. I'm shooting on a Lumix S5ii and S1, so I'm a bit spoiled with IBIS, but I love the look that the E2-S6 produces. The Komodo is next level though...
This was dope man I really appreciate your opinion. I was going through this conflict, but now I’m going through a new one which is the Z-Cam E2-s6 versus the new Sony FX30 what’s your opinion on that?
RED still owns the Patent for Internal RAW recording. That's why most of these camera companies are stuck to external recording . RED has sued over this many times. Nothing beats a RED. My Komodo is Pure RED in every way. It's Cinema. It has "The look". Thanks for the comparison.

Exactly...Clients can't tell the difference in picture quality for the final end product. They all see it as beautiful and better than phone quality.
Like the video bro! great points. Cheers from Venezuela. 🤓👍🏻
Using S6, keen as for a Komodo but if DaVinci does eventually recognise zcam CS then I’ll stick with it until I get some serious dollars

Nice video man. But what the people want to know is where did you get that jumper/sweater from? Cool durag by the way.
Hey thanks! And I gotchu🤟🏼😂 I got it from TJMaxx!
I HAVE THE Z CAM E2 AND S6. I WANNA GET A KOMODO.
S6’r myself - what’s do you dislike most about your S6?

Thanks for those corrections🙌🏼 and I honestly haven’t been able to look into it yet… I’ve really wanted to however🔥
@@RiverCody Also hope I didn't come off as an asshole. I know you are making content for free and I appreciate it.
@@renaissancedigital5730 oh not at all🤙🏼 now worries🙌🏼
Zcams6.... Something but I shot with the black magic it was nice
Lighting is 🔥🔥🔥

Ya the IBIS is something it took a leap of faith to get rid of💀😂 but once you put that weight on a camera… you’ll never feel the need to go back🙌🏼

Ya know, I’m going to have to study up on it. I don’t currently own the fx30… but that may be a new video coming up👀
Is zcam also made out of metal?
The zcam has a similar material as the Red, kind of a hard plastic. But I have mine rigged with metal cages, supports, etc. to make it very sturdy🤟🏼
My komodo is metal not plastic

Does the zcam have autofocus?
It does through monitors/mobile apps, but tbh I’ve never used it, so I can’t give a fair opinion lol💀
Rolling shutter should considered
