Years back I visited the Wood Brothers racing team. It was so cool. The little lady in the gift shop was married to len or Glen I cant remember. She was so sweet, we talked for an hour. very cool
@johnhaas2523 It doesn’t matter what the fans think. The fans loved Dibenedetto and he got canned. Matty D. performed way better than Harrison is currently. What matters is what the Wood Brothers top executives think, not the fans. I like Burton. I liked his dad Jeff when he raced. But the reality is that everything is about performance. If you don’t perform, you’ll be looking for a new job.
Not going to be mean. But are you really related to the wood brothers? If you are. Then why the heck are they struggling with Harrison Burton? (My opinion. Should have joined a better team)
Glad to see the legacy continue but would love to see the team stand out a bit more as the real underdogs of NASCAR. Right now, they just feel like a fourth Penske car with a pay driver.

been pretty much irrelevant since david person and neil bonnet days. buncha periodic 1 win guys after that. media can't get off it tho. i like the number and long lasting citgo color scheme that part seems pretty relevant as far as being to pick that one out of the field of random sponsors week to week. . they know who they are and have identity. so they are iconic in that way. need a better driver then burton tho. i think hes had more then a fair share of races to figure it out. but if he's brinign money in its hard to drop that.

I went to kindergarten all the way till Senior year with Jon. He's a good nice guy

I can tell you a 100% absolutely factual story about the wood brothers from the mid 60’s. Including my Father, (Glenn mainly) and Leonard.
