trying it for the first time this sat Dec 2, 2023 with 4 other friends...Our team is the Badass Grandmudders! Thanks for the video! It helps alot to know what the challenges are.
@@2wheeledsocialworker372 it went great. I actually am a writer and I wrote a humor column about it and it wound up on the cover of the local paper. We did all but 1 obstacles. It took us two hours, but we finished. We had a lot of laughs and a lot of camaraderie.
Thanks for taking the time. I'll be at Lake Elsinore in California tomorrow, Dec. 3rd. Looking forward to it. My brother and I did the 12 mile one out in West Virginia a few years ago, and that was crazy! What made it so tough was the fact that we were climbing the Appalachian Mountains...lol After that one, we said that we would probably stick to the flat-land events....lol
Dude this location of Tough Mudder looks so much better than Central Florida last year. This has SOOOO MUCH More Mud and Water! The Arctic Plunge was worse at central florida. You had to slide down roughly a 10ft slide straight into ice, good lord I felt like my body went into shock just from that alone… right after that was the cargo net climb then electro shock therapy
Wow the whole freaking thing is MUD!?!??!?! Having done the Spartan this is a surprise. Also seems like you really need a buddy/teammate? i always race alone. :(
Looks fun, thanks for the video. It seems similar to the European "Mud Masters" I did in how much of it is 'undergoing' things rather than strength or technique. I feel like Mud Masters is a bit larger scale, both in participation and obstacles, including a high and fast water slide and a high drop into water. I loved those.
You know what’s interesting, I actually got informed about Tough Mudder through a European, he went to the UK to do this and I thought this wasn’t an American thing originally 😆 now that I see the “Miles” it is kinda obvious…
Love your approach to doing race coverage. Going to try the same, even though I use a chest mount. Sucks that TM is removing fun and making it harder next year.
They are not removing fun necessarily, Just expect that ice to be filled to the very top of arctic. Plus some of the older, scary obstacles to come back. Coach, Sean, and Clinton and most of the fun obstacles will still be around!
@@damenjones3730 they announced they are going to remove the multiple mileages and stick to one only. i only say fun is removed because casual racers might be hesitant to sign up.
Regular Tough Mudder does not have awards. They do have competitive events like Infinity, Toughest, and World's Toughest. You may enjoy this - th-cam.com/video/ELSMzaF1VJc/w-d-xo.html
My sister is 75 years old.. young and energetic. She's doing this with her daughters and granddaughters in September! Go Cindy!!
That is awesome!
Your sister is awesome! I hope I can do this when I’m 75

She didn’t make it.
Oh dear gawd no! We’ve not heard from her in 6 mos.
Thanks for the video. I have done many Spartan OCR's. Time to add a Tough Mudder.

This is a great video, thank you for posting! The venue looked beautiful for this one. Doing TM Dallas and SoCal this year, can't wait.
You are welcome. Enjoy your events!
I definitely want to do this. 😃✨

Don't worry many people go alone and 100s of people are soooo helpful.. people go for fun not a race
I’m volunteering for Colorado, I’m a tower climber by trade so I’m excited to try it after
Hi it’s Bailey Ashton just wanted to say great video
Informative
EST has a pain level a bit less than stepping on a lego. Definitely, hurts but easy to keep moving & get over
I'm gonna be there I don't have allot of training but I'd love todo my best we'll see ig 😆
I freak’n loved the slack line
Missouri a few weeks ago was sooo cold and windy
I know I literally almost died

Been there done that. Loved the electrical running through it. Did it like 3 times in Colorado. Probably wont do it again on to better things.
Great Video. Showed the team work and the fun for getting muddy. Can't Wait for Worlds this year. Should I start training now?
Either that, or just don't train at all. Either way, it's a great time :)
My first event will be at the end of October in Nashville.
Have so much fun and let us know how it goes!
Super fit bro😂😂😂
This is all my fears in one race. I want to do it, but god damn..
Great video as always! Super excited for the Tremblant Trifecta weekend in 2 weeks! Are you going to make a video for this event?
Wish we could be there!

@@Obstacleracingmedia yes, it was extremely cold in New England 😂
Doing tough mudder tomorrow and nervous. Hopefully the water obstacles are not deep and able to stand bc I can’t swim
Def ask how deep when you get to each obstacle.
How did it go?
What city or town is this?
Hopefully it’s close to Dfw…….
Same question.
If you can't do a certain obstacle, are you allowed to skip it like in a Spartan race?
Yes. Unlike Spartan though, there are no penalties. *unless you are doing a Toughest or Worlds Toughest.
Ugh I’m so nervous. I’m doing the 15k and I suck at running. Would you say the miles are broken up?
Yes. Most folks walk/jog between obstacles.
Do we need a team to participate in this event?
I don't have a team but i want to participate in upcoming event in Toronto.
You do not. Check out the video. I talk about how strangers will help you if you need help with any obstacles.
Guys how can one join ???
I want to do This so badly but I’m not athletic in the slightest, would I still be able to try?
Yes. Go for it! Bring a friend.
do you have to finish every single one?
No, you can just move on to the next one.
What happens if you can’t complete certain challenges? Is the race over?
If you watch the video, we explain how you can just try again or keep going. :)
Where is this?
do you get a reward for finishing 1st or anything like that?

Water at these events are cesspools
What SPF number do you recommend?
@@Obstacleracingmedia id recommend avoiding them if you have any opens wounds
Is it the same obstacles every state
Many are the same. They mix some up.
Which event was this?
This was Tough Mudder Georgia.
just the tip?
I wanna go so bad! Looks so fun but im pretty unhealthy
Blockness Monster is great fun with Tough Mudder veterans. Newbies just get off the other side and leave...
You got one of these for us who were once young men?
Maybe this 82-year-old woman has some tips for you. th-cam.com/video/1FfidV5mKEg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=rezBMCTQ_RbWxV3p
you guys are just missing Vietnam
That one lady got the full experience 😂
Can kids do this?
Check TM website for minimum age. Some events have specific kids courses.
Rookies
I assume there are spectators
Yes. Spectators are allowed.
Do they have a shower afterwards
Yup
This does look fun and challenging, but if I’m being honest it doesn’t look as challenging or intense as their website makes it look.
Guess there is one way to find out!
You couldn't pay enough to do this.
What
How is not going up everest alone not fun...
What do you mean?
What’s the blonde girls name???
Terron something……
@@sanchezNO69 Te'ron Te'rell
Wow...TM has gotten soft.
Doubt you could do it
That IS NOT Artic Enema!!! WTF?
These people are nuts...what's the point of torturing yourself?
I'm doing it to push my limits and see what I can do so to me its not torture, it's a challenge 😁
And yes, I am a bit nuts I am aware of that 🤣
some people like a challenge
No new 2023 obstacles? Sad
