GCKI Trackride: Sunday Play-Day on Mini-Bikes: Hector's Ground Pilot Grom

One of the few non-KX65s on track today. This is the "Ground Pilots" #88 TMGP endurance racebike. The 4-speed Grom is faster than the 5-speed (according to me). Mainly because of less time shifting. Yes, I have had both 4 and 5 speed trans in my grom.
BUT... To do a good laptime getting your gear decisions made corner by corner is something you can dial in quickly and then eliminate as a variable in your riding. I recommend a tach and GPS data to make those decisions. What is actually fast usually doesn't feel that way.
2-stroke, top-end accustomed pilots get all confused riding the grom. Lugging the engine isn't a bad thing.
