Quadri played him close the whole way and better than i expected, but losing that second game was a killer
Should have not complained about the serve, that broke momentum.

Never seen FAN Zhendong getting overpowered by a non-chinese player, both with forehand and backhand topspin attacks. Zhendong purposely avoiding to have Aruna's powerful forehand attack. Great match. Aruna has a bazooka for forehand, probably stronger forehand in the table tennis world.

Quadri is an exceptional player. His mental strength and tactics are top notch, and his power can't be underestimated either.
His physical power is one of the highest of all TT players at the top.
Just look at his physique, he is built like a tank.

Hello @World Table Tennis ! We were playing mixed double 21 points game of 5 sets. After 4 set score were 2-2 then 5th game my opponent(A and B) ask to change serves (I was serving to-A and asked to serve to B) when I were 10 and they were 7 as a international rule, is it correct ? even if this is correct if they reach the score to17 (7+10) dose serve will change again (I mean I will serve back to A).

There must be a reason, WTT please clarify because we can't see what happened probably the umpire on the side said something before the serve..

Umpire probably called it let for some reason before the serve went into the net. Do you really all think Aruna wouldn't have complained if it wasn't legit ?

Not criticizing, but anyone saw that Aruna just whiffed his backhand passively to get the ball on table lol? FZD exploited so much from it. I'm rooting for QA every game but he needs to do sth differently from the BH side.

min 11:40 FZwas losing 6-10 and served poorly. he must have lost the set. I don't understand why he repeated the serve, the ball hit the net and fell on his side
Hey, Zhendong, at 11:40, you served the ball into the net and it hit the floor. That means you lost that point and that set to Quadri. How can you, the ref, and the ump miss that? Do the three of you sleep in the same bed at the same time?
I think judging from aruna's reaction, the ball might have jumped to his side and then back to the side of Fan.
@@ericzhang5549 No it didn't. I stepped through the video frame-by-frame and the ball was short and landed on FZD's side of the table. That set went to Aruna.
To me it looks like the umpire raised his hand before Fan served.
@@ttime9947 Yes, after close review of the umpire, it appears he was warning FZD of his ball height. Had he not intervened, that would have ended the set.
@@pappaflammyboi5799umpire could have said something before FZD served, causing him to miss the serve. Fzd usually never misses a serve.

The point and set needs to be reviewed by the ITTF for the erroneous mishap at 11:40. How everyone missed that, including Aruna, is beyond me.

I used to believe the umpires were a joke for practically never applying proper service rules, but the ridiculously bad no-call service fault by FZD at 11:40 is just over-the-top horrendous refereeing.

@@terriblegamer1701 It clearly was NOT. Go review the video. I stepped thru it frame-by-frame. So either the umpire interrupted FZD during the service, or he faulted.

Aruna lacking some brain to win 2nd set. Zhendong unethically trying to break Aruna's concentration after being 6-9 down in 2nd set. Aruna failing to capitalize victory in 2nd set after being 10-6 up when Zhendong was consistently avoiding Aruna's forehand attacks by forcing him to use his backhand only. Zhendong has a much better technique and is a smart player.

Yes it was clear to see that the officials wasn't expecting Qudri to play so well so they could call the point for him when Fan served the ball in the net . Fan didn't expect this gift from the referee . His behavior was very unsportsmanlike and l am disappointed in him he should have accepted the loss of that game . Seeing the quality player he his it was very unlikely that Qudri would have won the set he was making to much mistakes . These officials must not be allowed to ref any more games their bias against Qudri could have brought the game into disrepute . I hope it was not a case of racism but l have my feeling it was their could be no other explain action .
