You don't very often see them in black. The pale wood really sets the paintwork off beautifully.

Very nice job . Good to see the disc brake conversion . The no 1 concession for usability .
This car is vary memorable for my family. 3 times my dad buy this brand (all in 2nd hand condition - 2 is Moris Traveler & 1 is normal Moris). It's used to carry all items that my dad selling in day & night market around the north Malaysia.
I can remember the registration number for only 1 of this - PA 3834 🤓💪🏽💪🏽
Once a week my that will drove quite far for selling his product. It's around 60 kilometers for 1 way from our house.
And I still remember, a one day all our family members must go to Port Dickson (Southern area of Malaysia) form our hometown at Permatang Pauh, Penang but when we arrived at Kuala Lumpur we leave this car and continue our journey to Port Dickson with one of our relatives car coz his car is more stable to continue the journey. It's about 400 kilometers from our home & at this time our country not yet built the North & south highway.
Too many others memorable stories in my family life with this car around 1975 - 1978.

that looks great and as new, recently bought the 1:12 sunstar die cast model of the cabrio with all functioning parts and many details sturdy little car. Talking of Issigonis, sun star has the Mini too in 1:12. check it out!
So that wood frame is actually structural and not just for decoration. How much does a restoration like that cost?

I live in an area of the US with an average of 86% humidity ....I love this car but man , what a nightmare it would be to own where I live .

Agreed: that's how Travellers came out of the factory: and the tyres are too wide for the rims!
you forgotten to put the reflectors at the back Otherwise a fine restauration job
