An idea for the Christmas special that you definitely mentioned is to release that overtake on the red polo in the "Why Did I Buy Another BMW M140i? *POV DRIVE*" video (or any blooper/unseen moments)
Just wanted to say kudos on the car bud - an F21 M140i with sunroof is rarer than hen's teeth. I'm sure you knew that!
Took my F21 to PerformanceM in December for a major service after picking her up 2 days prior. Had the diff inserts done because, as you say, they're a very cost-effective mod to do, but can't really comment on the before/after. Taking her back again in March for the B8s (and the Adaptive Dampers removing/decoding), as well as the M3/M4 lower control arms w/fast geo string alignment. I will let you know how the car feels in case it's still helpful.
Also to note is that mine's currently sat on H&R lowering springs and Bimecc 12 mm wheel spacers at the front, supposedly this will lead to rubbing with the LCAs fitted. Going to try and get away with the 10 mm Bimecc spacers, again I can feed that back if useful.

Definitely feed back after you’ve had that all done. I’ve heard the LCAs massively improve the steering feel and turn in so it’s something on my radar for future upgrades for sure 👌
@@Blakey748 No problem mate, I'll keep you posted. Hit me up in warmer weather if you fancy an F21 drive, I live in Basingstoke so the A303/Stone Henge seems like a good half-way house, and it's a cracking bit of tarmac as well.
Hoping the LCAs sharpen the handling a bit more, obviously not as much as an eventual LSD will do but that's going to have to wait... I've heard upgrading the anti roll bars isn't a bad shout either :)

I've got the same spacers 25mm drop all round on standard shocks. My front is too low when I go over speed bumps and those flipping spikes/plates that only let you drive in one way. Stick with what you have on the front because you'll be avoiding speed bumps more than you may already do so.
Thanks for the heads up. It is growing on me I think but I’ll save my final judgement until the exterior of the car is where I want it to be
I’ve got an adaptive car and whilst it’s good in comfort, it has the same problem in sport plus, dampers too soft for UK roads. Got rear B8s for £200 from AUTODOC just need to get the fronts. Got the M performance lsd & god it makes such a huge difference especially when being stage 2+ im also jealous of your colour. I wanted mineral grey but couldn’t find the spec (wanted sunroof, electric seats and rear cam) but could only find all that in estoril blue😢
Great vid - may I ask what made you go for the MMR springs over the Eibach? I am looking to do the same mods as you but not sure which spring to go for!
The eibach don’t offer enough of a drop for my liking but I’ve heard they perform well also!
Did you notice you could feel more of the road surface through the steering wheel on rougher roads? Good video pal
Maybe a little, but mainly through the “butt dyno” you notice the improve road feel
Get 40 profile tiers that will solve the problem. The 35 profile you feel everything on the road

Hi mate, yes absolutely I love these mods just as much now as I did then. Literally no downside to doing it, you definitely won’t regret it!
@@Blakey748awesome! I appreciate you getting for back to me mate, your video has definitely swayed me on getting these upgrades - although Im dying to get an lsd I’m struggling to justify it in comparison to these assortment of mods for cheaper
If you fit the M3/M4 front arms, your ride height will be lowered by another few mm. My 135i dropped by about 10mm when I fitted M3 LCAs.
Did you stay with the standard bump stops?
Yeah my worry with the LCA conversion is you can’t run spacers with the oem wheels because the caster angle change means the wheel will rub at full lock I believe.
No! I got new M Performance bump stops fitted 👍
@@Blakey748 The wheels sit further forward and further out. You might not feel that spacers are essential.
Are the M Performance bump stops shorter?
Yeah okay I’ve seen cars that run the standard wheels with the LCAs and TS and tbf it still looks good with the additional camber up front.
I believe they are yes so they allow a slight amount more travel before impact.

I don’t know them mate. It’s done with string by the guys at Performance M so no print out! I assume they don’t want to share the info either but could try asking them 👍
I wonder if B8s & stock springs would make the ride any comfier than stock, with a passive setup? Mine rides awfully compared to my previous adaptive car.
I think the B8s are designed specifically to be used with lowered springs so not sure if anyone has done that tbf. But I do know the ride is definitely better than stock 👍 stiffer but more compliant.
@@Blakey748 out of curiosity, what tyres are you running? Mines currently on PSSs but thinking PS5s would make it much more comfortable and might sort my issue out.
I’m running PS5. They’re a great tyre I have no complaints

With your insert did they put on the top and bottom cos IAM just order some powerflex inserts hoping it makes a difference if not then LSD and that money
I believe the inserts go in from the bottom mate
There's 8 insert pieces for the rear and front subframe some people just do the bottom but you also can do the tops that what I was wondering if that what you had done
