Honestly, i live now in Israel. I came from Europe 5 years ago. The winters here, are like the fall in Europe..So in my vision, we ‘ don’t have winters here’ ❤
I've being living in Israel from the past 45 years and if you live in Jerusalem or Tzfat the winters can be very cold with snow as well. Depends where you live. Shalom from Jerusalem.
I like how you switch up fonts to help me practice reading different ways Hebrew letters can look. This font's mem looks like a nun or kaf plus a vav, but I got used to it by the end of the video.
Todah rabah Achoti 😊😍⚘️ Your channel is so good 🎉 Learning Hebrew has always been a challenge for me! I love the way you break down the Hebrew origin and say the word well so i can understand‼️ You are a berekah for slow learners like me‼️⚘️🕊 THANK YOU ❣️

Hebrew is fascinating as a language because it is semitic at its base, but so influenced by the western in its vocabulary (and ways of expressing). Many words borrowed ultimately from Latin and Greek. As part of the revival of course. More so than languages like Arabic that have and prefer native words for concepts. Not saying there are no semitic Hebrew words for the concepts, but when they are used it is mostly in a poetic context.
Awesome. I loved your reference to שיר השירים. It is one of the few Hebrew names that I recognize.
So glad 😃😃
