Thanks for repping the rolling community! You're killing it! Would also love to see you try your hand at some more skateboarding. Let's see some more crossover content with Chris! Let him teach you some Skateboarding!
I used to skate aggressive inline 20 years ago. Never quite mastered the 540 but the way you just explained it to Nugg makes me realize I was doing it wrong the whole time. Where were you 20 years ago dude?
Rob is such an amazing instructor. And I know we've had Grinds and spins, but if the dude is down for it, a general 'breaking and learning to flow' episode would be amazing and Chris would Appreicate skating even more so.
I’ve been watching Braille since 2015 and I’ve always loved you guys, I’m stoked that y’all love to incorporate other sports into your channel. Super happy to see blading and YES Chris needs to keep progressing on rollerblading
Braille army should play game of SKATE with Rollerblade! Everything counts, that would be fun to watch. And he teaches the basics to each member for 1 week
Ive been watching Rob play guitar for around 4 years, now learning he can rollerblade like a pro makes me apreciate him more. Chris def gotta keep progressing in rollerblading!!!
Love this video. The straight leg fast spin of Chris has the figure skater vibe. With time he'll learn to squat more and look more like an asphalt assassin. Amazing progression with no falls
Everything he said about how to spin is 200% accurate and relevant. It’s literally the same advice that got me to land a standing full twist. Informative and wholesome experience as always- thank you braille
Pleeeease! Continue with blading x skateboarding series! And keep with Rob! He has an amazing energy! Congratulations on your progress and welcome to the family Chris!
Go with what you feel is more enjoyable, man. I started skateboarding and went to blading. I get back on the board every now and again so I don't lose my tricks. haha
I’ve been looking for a 540 tutorial, did not think I’d find it on Braille 😆 keeping the head where you would for a 180 after a 360 is a great tip, really obvious but I hadn’t really considered if, gonna try this tomorrow!
You guys are amazing honestly I could sit here for hours watching your videos they are so entertaining and Chris should definitely keep up rollerblading his progress is insane.
100% need more blading on Braille, Chris is killing it so far! I want to see more crossovers with other sports. This helps grow all the extreme sports communities! Nothing makes me happier than seeing people show up to skate parks with a bike, blades, a board and a scooter. Alot of people stick to one sport.. but the reality is you can do all of them and carry over tons of knowledge to the other ones that will make you a better athlete.
That's why he was telling to you to use your knees on those landings. It's not just for looks, it saves some pain. I'm really glad he taught you the look back 180 first. It makes everything easier.
I used to blade years ago & I never managed a 540 but with Rob as my tutor I think I probably could. Also when he says they’re easier than 360’s he’s probably right. Landing backwards is definitely easier than forwards. It sounds strange but it just feels more stable!
If Chris can learn crossover strides for speed & turning while maintaining speed, use his knees more in general, deeper lunges in stride, he has the athletic ability just needs time/practice on blades. Eventually things will start feeling more comfortable & smoother. For only being on skates a short amount of time he’s already way ahead of most whom just put on skates for the first few times! Need to get him rolling on some better skates & he’s set.
As someone who grew up doing both, this is about par for (intermediate/advanced) skateboarders trying to blade.. can't believe Chris can 540 already though, sick!
True, new rollerbladers usually dont learn to roll comfortably. They go for harder stuff straight away and it looks stiff and bad. I learnt on rec skates before I even knew about aggressive, so didnt have a problem. Chris looks so much more comfortable just by bending down before and after landing. It flows better and looks natural. He can for sure progress quickly and easily coming from skateboarding.
Yes, I mostly watch braille to see if there are weird boards or blading, I would love to see Chris learn more tricks. (can't believe he landed 540 First T)
Skateboarding has a lot w how well he caught on and it goes the other way around as well, I know some skateboarders who used to blade and they are shredders
Honestly super jealous! I could flat land 360, landed a few front flips and misty flips yet could never get the 540. Was always 1/4 turn off. Great work
I dunno if someone already said it but the easiest way to 5 on blades is to have feet more spread out. Then throw your arm and top body 180 first for momentum, and your feet follow
No way.. I dont think i've done a 540 and I've been skating for sooo long.. This makes me really want to try it now. I've taken some heavy falls and stuff and jumped a 6 stair and very comfortable skating backward on one foot and stuff so I should be able to get it with the tips u said.

Merry christmas guys!
I just got my braille board from Walmart! Had to buy it just to support the the idea of better boards for beginners! You guys are awesome
fill a baththub up with mcnuggs and i'll dive right in
I think Chris should absolutely keep up his rollerblading progression. Welcome to the blading community, brother!
Welcome
Amazing work Chris! 👏 👏 👏
Nailed it
Thanks for having me on guys!
Thanks for coming!

Which is more impressive? Writing and recording an album in a day or learning to 540 in a day?
I used to skate aggressive inline 20 years ago. Never quite mastered the 540 but the way you just explained it to Nugg makes me realize I was doing it wrong the whole time. Where were you 20 years ago dude?
I love this, thanks!
I can’t believe theres even more videos with Rob!! Love this series guys!!!!!
Thanks so much
Yeah man he’s so prolific! I’m so jelous of him hahah
Rob is such an amazing instructor.
And I know we've had Grinds and spins, but if the dude is down for it, a general 'breaking and learning to flow' episode would be amazing and Chris would Appreicate skating even more so.
Getting 1 Rob video was amazing... getting several Rob videos is unexpected and idk if we even deserve this. So cool.
Much love

WE NEED MORE ROLLERBLADEEESSSSS!!! Love both ya’lls content! Especially braille!
Thank you
Again. Love this series! Rob is right. 540s on inline skates feel amazing.
Thank you for the support
Braille army should play game of SKATE with Rollerblade! Everything counts, that would be fun to watch. And he teaches the basics to each member for 1 week
Ok haha
Not sure about the 1 week of basics, but the team playing a game of everything counts would be sick
@@phoenixmcneill5337 yeah it's just an idea, can be modified:) I'm looking forward for that video!
@@tunaozsoyy 👍 BLADE*
@@the_peaceful_penguin oh yeah you are right, edited. I'm a skateboarder and I literally don't know anything about rollerblading world😅

Pleeeease! Continue with blading x skateboarding series! And keep with Rob! He has an amazing energy! Congratulations on your progress and welcome to the family Chris!
You guys should do a game of skate where Braille uses rollerblades and Rob uses a skateboard
Good idea
I second this request.
Maybe they could do 3-4 tricks but Rob could definitely strike back with the hippie jump.
Absolutely continue your rollerblading progression. This is great content.
I would love to see Chris continuing the Rollerblading journey.
Chris should totally keep it up. Love seeing blades on Braille. I miss having a pair
I'm really looking forward to seeing Chris progress with this. Aggressive inline has been shunned for too long.
man, this channel made me pick up skateboard, now it makes me want to pick up roller blades.
Haha
Go with what you feel is more enjoyable, man. I started skateboarding and went to blading. I get back on the board every now and again so I don't lose my tricks. haha
Do both. That's what I do. Like a multi instrumentalist.
There is no rule that you can't do both. My main was always blading but I was never afraid to hop on a board and mess around for fun.
Honestly as someone who does it, its fun to do both i love the technical side of skateboarding but also love the speed/momentum of blading
I’ve been looking for a 540 tutorial, did not think I’d find it on Braille 😆 keeping the head where you would for a 180 after a 360 is a great tip, really obvious but I hadn’t really considered if, gonna try this tomorrow!

Chris you should of course keep blading, but only if your hearts in it. You do you!
Now Chris gotta learn how to do it on vert! 😂
Please
Vert dawgs 🤙
Robs got style
Chris had the basics
What i mean is...Rob is YEARS of practice. It can come to YOU as well.
Keep going folks.
the question which burns deep inside of me is: when we get an "Braille Theme Song by Rob Scallon"?
Yes please!!!!!!
@@brailleskateboarding than let's make it happen 😍😍😍
This series of vids with Rob have been absolutely awesome. Love these collabs with other TH-camrs, both skating and non skating channels alike.

Rob Scallon has the STEEEEZ!!! Oooweee!
Great job Chris! Would love to see some more
Keep it up Chris! Keep going and have fun!
Bladin' McNuggin' is really cool. Also, as a musician, he can collab with Rob for a bop.
Yup, keep blading Chris! You're killing it!
Just realizing that rob is the guy who was shredding a sitar to metal riffs in a video that popped up on my feed like a year ago
Yes shredding
Yes please more rollerblading. Amazing video!
As a rollerblader who is trying to do a 540, that video is kinda the best in explaining it as simple as it could be
Braille should expand and get some bladers on the team. I bet a lot of people would love to learn how to blade from Braille as well.
Continue man !!!! I’ve begun to rollerblade as a skateboarder as well and this is inspiring 👍🏻
Thanks 🙏

Would love to see some more blading with Scallion and McNugg!
I like that Rob was like, "We'll learn to stop later. Let's first learn this 540"
"Geese are mean." - someone who's been to Lake Merritt
