I move alot of stuff as well what always baffles me is the engineers who designed the building never ever put in consideration that large items have to go inside
This literally happened to me, yesterday. Beautiful top grain leather sofa bed that wouldn't fit it into the room. Now, I have nothing. Why do they build houses with large rooms and small doorways? Wtf builders/architects!😕
I noticed that the window pane prevented you from clearing the top of the couch. Did you try to remove that window pane? the part that slides comes off with a few maneuvers. Worst case would be to remove the entire window but that would be crazy expensive to fix later. But all in all, I appreciate that you didn't charge her. Good efforts tho. I have a 1995 couch that is in great shape still and it all wood and nailed. No way to disassemble it but I moved it from my old house to the new one. I hope whoever gets it after me pays attention if it will go through their door. Good luck on you future jobs.👏👏
I bought a oversized chair today and didn't think of measuring my front door, the chair is 7 inches wider than the door! And I'm alone so no help and here I am looking to see how in the world I will bring it in by tonight!!
Yeah im having a similar dilemma only with my mums huge uncooperative couch. The only other option that wont end up costing alot is to cut the damn thing lol i enjoy fixing things so im happy to section it off and put it back together. I notice a few other people have cut their sofas up so why not lol
Her angle would be difficult to get furniture in, if she had a long hallway when you open the door. It would have fit in better but the angle with less space is difficult.
What disturbs me the most is daylight/curtains drawn and the bloody TV on LOUD. The sofa couldn't take it and wanted to live elsewhere. Like, where there is light and silence. ....LOL
I wish I had determined movers like this, cause my couch was the same size as hers or maybe a bit smaller and I have a long hall way but the delivery guy return it back to the warehouse, so I will take my refund back
they continued to try to come in straight but they could have started into the room at an angle, not straight into the doorway That way they might make it past that ridiculous wall.

nope wrong that only works if the closet door is higher than the front door wich it rarely is you only use those spaces if it makes the turn easier these guys tried all the right things the only thing they couldve done was take out the window with consent of the owner but if they dont feel comfortable doing that because its not their job or the cost would be too much... then thats their choice as a mover never force the situation beyond a point that you feel responsible for.
If u saw the furniture I got in my room an saw the narrow hallway to get there u would be scratching ur head for hrs trying to figure out how an it's simple .....skill baby it's skill😅
You would of got that on the first try if the guy in the flat would of dropped his end and the guy on the outside raise his end then you could of fed it through and made the turn.
The ceiling wasn't high enough. I'm having the same trouble with that exact couch. Also my hallway is really narrow. My ceiling height is 94 inches and the couch is 97 inches. Looks like the ceiling in the video is about the same height as mine.

a mover is a mover, some are better than others and these guys are great movers but not magicians! but a tip for a job they couldnt do?? (not their fault...) they should get money for showing up.... if they want it, but why a tip?!? the woman just got a couch thats too big for her home, only solution is taking out a window but thats extra $$ and the movers decide if they wanna do that yes or no...

You guy’s exhausted all the angles , customers never belive an item willnt fit & then start giving you instructions , like the 10,000 sofas before don’t count . I know you probably knew the first 10 seconds of being there that there was only a very slim chance of making it , but since you were there now

I know it's not an option for someone in an apartment but definitely could've taken the wall out where the TV was and slide it on in..

Lesson here is to never buy a cheap couch that you cant remove all the cushions from. Seriously, that is what kept them from getting this in.
Exactly - cheap furniture with cushions that can't be removed, and oversize couches that don't come in 2 or 3 parts.

Parker knoll sofas have removable top cushions but fitted lower. £3k so not cheap.
