Does the Kobra 3 still pure the entire feed tube of filament when a spool runs out, or does it now support using a sensor at the actual head to determine when the spool is "used up"?
@@Diy.dopamine_ I thought there was also one back at the ACE? I had seen reports that if the spool ran out it immediately purged the entire line so it could load the next.
@@Bigrignohio from my experience if there is enough filament through out the tube to finish the print, it will use up what ever is in the tube to finish that print. If there is quite a bit more to print it will purge out the filament to load the next roll. It also depends on how u have this set up in ur slicer.
@@Jairajplayz honestly if you need the bigger build plate, get the kobra 3 combo. If u don’t need the bigger build plate, get the A1 mini combo. Regarding the firmware lockdown, it should not impact the majority of Bambu lab users.
If you are on a budget, then this is a great printer. However if you have a little bit more cash to spare, the Bambu lab A1 might be a better option simply because of the workflow and interface. If you want the best bang for your buck, get the anycubic printer and you won't think twice about your decision. If you want to spend some more money for a cleaner user experience, then get the A1. Both are great options my friend! If you're still on the fence, I will be uploading a review for the Bambu Lab A1 shortly, so make sure you're subscribed!!
Did you have Z axis issues? I have the K3 and have had some Z axis issue where the printer will forget the Z axis and start printing over existing material.
Make sure to not set the z-axis on the printer itself, never press the "ok" or "confirm" (not sure what it is callled) button on the z-offset screen. Only set the z-offset through the slicer, then you should be good to go.
this is me being honest with you , but all this advertisement in your video turned me from the video , hope you take this not as a complaint but as some helpful criticism , this video was going well tell all the advertisements happened , idk if anyone else got that vibe but i wont be back because of that , seems like a sold out video. cheers

Would you suggest this over the BAMBU Lab A1 ?

@@crazycomediam nope, I’ve never had any issues with the Z axis! It’s been great for me so far!
