That would be my dream, to explore with this thing.. but I life in Switzerland.. they‘re not allowed here and well.. on lakes its not really exploring anyway. I envy all the ones who live in Australia, the US or other places where you can have ton of nice adventures with a Seadoo.. fishing, snorkeling and so on… Thats the funny thing.. so many people envy the Swiss for their nice nature but if you love the sea, it is not really the place to live..

In Italy, for example, to ride a PWC it's necessary the nautical licence and you cannot go away more over 1 (one) nautical mile from the coast in the period from may to end September. Free in other period of the year. In Italy the law is very severe. In Greece Is always freee

How many riders? Rough seas? Loaded with gear? How fast you want to go? We rode FL/Georgia line basically down intracoastal to St. Augustine --about 75 miles--during our test. Using ECO mode the entire time and used 12 of the 18.5 gallon tank (we had four fuel bars left on the gauge,) So, maybe 110-miles max range? Again, though, depends upon speed, load, water conditions, etc.

Is this a Seadoo sponsored video? When has the ST3 hull ever been good for offshore riding or rough water? Never 🤷♂️ The adjustable steering is still a plastic unit and still remains vague compared to its competitors. The ST3 is susceptible to bow hunting in rough water. This ski is basically designed for retirees who want a dry ride in sheltered waters or those who don't want the traditional PWC feel or to feel the elements. This is what a Fishpro should be
The "plastic steering" you mention has me wondering if that is an issue. Could you please share what you know? TIA. We are not retirees, but you can probably add "family with kids who are not daredevils" to your list of Explorer riders. My 50 year old wife wants an easy ride around the island to visit friends, especially when road traffic is crazy. The 11 year old wants a platform to fish from, and the 14 year old just wants to run out to a sandbar and hang with Dad. Sounds about right. I might even take it out a few miles and fish a reef. The kids will want to tow a small tube or board, and I think (?) this can do it. I sometimes chase big waves, but only occasionally. We usually prefer smooth blue sky days. I'm not an expert on these things, but the explorer with the IBR (reverser) seems about right for us, assuming it's not prone to broken stuff. Your thoughts are welcome. Thx.
@@FamilyManMoving As a dealer for Sea-Doo I challenge the original commenter to show me a competitor that has a more stable Hull. I sell Yamaha and Sea Doo brand machines with the occasional Kawasaki trade. We have tested each machine on our lake at the back of the property and there is no comparison in stability or comfort. Your are on the right track @user-gc7ul4wp2g. As this will not likely make me a sale, the insight I have offered here is completely unbiased and personally/objectively confirmed.
@@kellenmiller3391 Much appreciated. I spent some time digging into a series of reviews and data on the hull design and overall fit and finish, and agree. The local rental companies all seem to favor sea-doo, which tells me they are low maintenance and easy to handle. Thanks again.
