We just moved a week ago from Bay St Louis, sold the house just in time! I feel sorry for the new owners though. Lived on the bayou for 5 years off 603, this year was the worst year ever!
@alfred selle excuse me, if you were originally from the area you would know that I am from the area born and raised! Look at my last name. So keep your comments to yourself. No wonder its being taken over by Louisiana and everyone else for that matter.
Went through this just like everyone since 1980 mum was pregnant with me when Fredrick came through in 79 raided in waist deep water during katrins Live in Gautier and I wasn't expecting the winds
@@angelicathomas6215........I spent quite a few weeks there after Katrina developing a recovery plan for the Mississippi coast through the Mobile District of the Corps of Engineers. It hurt me every day to see the destruction and loss of life and talk with people who had lost everything. I hope all of your family are safe.
@@tylergraham2411 Yes I do. If I die young I want it to be from a super hurricane. Nothing else. I would try to avoid the storm surge areas though. Glad you made it though.

Mark Palavos Vrahotes also a category 2 is a lot worse thank you thing bud, area I live in had lots of damage so to say it’s not that bad is an understatement
Thanks for sharing the video.

I don’t know if anybody told you but that’s Long Beach, not Gulfport.
It’s a land mass.
Part of it is Pass Christian, where I used to live.
We did get it bad here in long beach for sure. Shingles slammed so hard against my vehicle that it scratched up my windows
@@sunnieelmer2723 Wow, I lived at the Beach Club briefly and then we moved to the Cottages at 2nd st. Fyi.
@@sunnieelmer2723 we sure did! It's been rough for some people.
The wind took out a lot of power down here reminds me of pitch black the movie at night
Oh my goodness lord have mercy on your people

Yeah, Katrina cured me of living on the coast.
So beautiful but vulnerable.
Democrats kept me out of California 😂 most destructive natural force
@Thicky Nicki Haha, wish that was true, califnias are mass exixting there ,with TOO many going to Texas,
@PeytonsPawPaw 1 Keep the conspiracist cult nonsense off this page. This is weather reporting, not Fox News.
Let me show how simple I am and start a political argument for no reason.
Lots of feral boats and displaced sheet metal roofs. Neither fare well in hurricanes. Hope no one was hurt seriously.
I've only heard of 2 deaths
@@angelicathomas6215......well unfortunately I’ve heard of three. A heart attack, a fallen tree on a mobile home and one drowning in the surge. Sad.

La naturaleza se encargó de sacar lo q no debía construirse en las costas.
I believe Louisiana has had enough of these storms.
This is Mississippi
SO SAD!!!
Its not that bad. Nothing a cat 2 hurricane cant do. I would like to experience a high end cat 5 one day and see what that is like.
Mark Palavos Vrahotes no you don’t, I live here in Bay St. Louis and went through Katrina. Trust me you don’t want to
