Android user here. Forced to use an iphone for work. It's been more than a year and I still don't know how people can stand it. Everything feels so counter-intuitive and counter-productive.
It was never meant to be productive but just using for longer duration for ad. if apple wanted its people to be productive, then it wouldn't also create numbers over excel. Think of that for a second.
Same here man, started at the job I have now exactly in January 2023, so it's been a year.. I got the iPhone SE (didn't get a choice) and man what a terrible experience, I really hate that thing. It's a paperweight when I am working from home and I told people to contact me on my private phone number if they need me. I've tried also the higher models like the 14 Pro and Pro Max and it's still a way worse experience than my android phone
Tech TH-camrs not just trying Android, but going straight to a privacy-concious custom ROM and then actually liking it and sticking to it, that is just amazing. I love everything about that.

Try a Xiaomi phone (they allow you to root out the box) you root it set it up the way you want then unroot / lock it. Got past all my security and banking apps no problem. Be careful with custom ROMs. You never know what crapware/malware the builder might include. While custom ROM might look cool, fast, etc. I wouldn't install my banking apps on it.
You still give them data regardless, and nomatter if you create it from the ground, as long as it uses internet no matter how open source it is, data will be recollected.
If you're on the internet they have data on you regardless of what you use. However you don't get ads and they cannot see everything. But where there's a connection NSA has stooges wire tapping and gathering every data regardless of who you are or what you use. That's how the USA spies on it's enemies around the world and why China stays off the grid for the most part.
Welcome to Android! I'm sure you'll love the freedom of choice that comes with it :) BTW for the notifications you don't want Android has notification control to allow you to set per app toggles. (there should be plenty of youtube guides out there)
Exactly what I came to the comment section for.... Thought it was odd he never just disabled the annoying notifications. When selecting the physical notification, it normally takes you straight to the settings to change it to silent/popup/notify etc 🤔
I use multi-window a lot. I would be beyond annoyed switching back and forth between apps on iPhone. This is very handy when referencing something from one app, while working in another.

That iPhone users often stick with iPhone out of embarrassment from other iPhone users commenting if they change...says a lot about iPhone users, and none of it is good.
Honestly I switched from Android to iOS because of how it looked, and to my mind it’s (personally) easier for me to use. I feel it’s a preference, not more so one is really better than the other, they have their own perks.
@@cloudy_xDD Switching to iOS because of how it LOOKS is as funny as people whose concern, in buying a Mac, was what color the case is. Apple is welcome to 'em.
@@KAZVorpal That and it’s simple to use, I don’t use a Mac, I have a windows pc.. (and dual boot Linux mint) why? Because macOS isn’t powerful enough to run the stuff I want it to lol. You can disable specific notification types, e.g. "everything up-to-date". Hold finger for a few seconds over an app icon (the Play Store, in this case) to pop up menu, then tap "App info" (i) button. Then tap on "Notifications". You can switch off specific categories - or just everything at once. I think the one you want to disable is called "Updates completed". I have my notifications extremely fine-tuned for all apps. I only get notifications for things I actually care about. Google Pixel 6 Pro here. Previously had a Google Pixel 2 XL, and I didn't even feel the need to upgrade from a feature POV - I only did so for continued security updates.

started with iPhone mainly because we got one cheap second hand, but a main motivator to switch to Android was also just being locked into the small storage of iPhones, haha. As for customizability, don't forget you can also replace your home screen - it's just an app, after all. I'm using Total Launcher and spent a couple months dragging, dropping, and resizing stuff by hand for a fully customized and compact UI. It's inspired by Star Trek LCARS, but otherwise, totally original.
My first smartphone about 11-12 years ago was an iPhone because that was the cool thing among my group of friends. The salesman was trying to convince me to get an android even though he would get less commission. After I went through 3 iPhones in 2 years (they kept dying inexplicably) I finally went Android and haven't looked back since.
@@SaveTheInsects_Team True, but notice their concern was being "locked" into the storage amount. I don't know of any iPhone model that ever allowed expandable storage. And to upgrade to a higher storage tier is a ridiculously high price. But nowadays, the truth is that expandable storage is all but disappearing on Android as well.
On android you can also swipe to right to go back which i honestly think is hundred times better than stupid ios left side only its ridiculously uncomfortable..
You can hold the specific notification you don't want to see (for example, the "up to date" one) and only turn off that one. And most apps on android give you choice like that.
Thanks so much for such a rational and non-hysterical comparison of android and iOS ! Nice! Glad to see a real video like this with all the security stuff in mind. Those up to date nags must be a Graphene thing? Haven't seen that on regular stock Android.
I siwtched to android because of the cost/benefit ratio. Just wasn't worth it, even when buying used iphones. I've used the same $100 android phone for years now (that includes the cost of the case & the phone itself, btw). Haven't even had the screen crack even once. Got all the features/functions I want in a phone, for a tiny fraction of the cost. Plus I refuse to give up my headphone jack. Today's iphones don't have all the features I need in a smartphone, they don't have headphone jacks. Plenty of andriods include headphone jacks.

Happy holidays Sam! I switched from an iPhone 13 Pro to a Pixel 8 this year and so far I'm loving it. I've been using iPhones for over a decade since the iPhone 5.
I don't use GrapheneOS, but I do use LineageOS. The ability to put a different OS on a mobile device is one of my purchase criteria. All my previous Android phones have had an alternative OS put on them by me.
I used to consistantly buy flagship phones (iPhones, Blackberrys, Samsungs). The Note 9 was my last flagship phone. Since you can't change batteries any more, and the lack of updates (and when you do get an update, it might actually make your 1-2 year old device even worse) really makes the phone worse in the end rather than it actually breaking. I've never broken a phone. Now I'm on a Samsung Galaxy A52s 5g. It works. I use my phone for basic stuff. Maps, Whatsapp, email, listening to music and banking. I carry a full frame camera for photography and a nintendo switch for gaming on the go. So all I need is my phone to be a phone. Most midrangers are quite competent nowadays. @@HumbleHuman-k7g most smartphones open the same way. Heat it up and gentle prying to lift either the screen or back glass off. As for the sofware pairing. What manages charge capacity is the bms board which is attached directly to he battery. The way max capacity report works is iOS checking the bms report

I've personally found LineageOS to be a great custom OS with long term software support (my original Pixel 1 can get Android 13!), if you want to try it in the future!
I'm currently running LineageOS on a Samsung Note 10.1 tablet from 2012, it doesn't run quite as reliably as I would like, but it has Android 12 and runs it surprisingly well for a device of that age. Only problem is that the system crashes occasionally, causing the device to reboot.
I switched to Pixel 6 from the iPhone 11 ~3 years ago and the only disadvantage I noticed is camera quality. I fancy having control over all the possible privacy settings. As for the headphones -- Airpods Pro with type C work perfectly fine with android. Also, I can use my phone as a wireless charger for the headphones. 😊
@@ElvisChibundu I think that is because it was using the standard Google Camera app that came with the phone. Much of the strength of the Pixel camera is due software and Google post-processing of the photos. GrapheneOS does not have the Google camera app installed by default. But if you really needed it, you could create a separate user (as Sam did for Google Maps) without compromising the privacy and security of your default user.

I use a Samsung Galaxy A51, which I chose mainly because it has decent specs and supports a microSD card. It also has a 3.5mm audio jack. Sadly, those are both things that many modern phones are doing away with.
btw if your phone runs out of storage you can just factory reset it and it becomes new again, no need to buy a new one btw2! unlike on iPhones, to go back you don't need to swipe from the left edge to the right, you can also swipe from the right edge to the left! it's pretty nice. though 3-button navigation is also nice, especially on phones that aren't humongous this is a pretty interesting take on the switching to Android thing! instead of using Android exactly the same way as you would've used an iPhone, jumping from one walled garden into another, you took actually advantage of Android's freedom and openness, to make the experience and your device truly your own. you're like the only youtuber that actually stepped back and considered what makes Android special. i was very surprised!

I'm also considering going the un-Google'd Android route for my next phone. I'm on a regular stock Samsung Galaxy phone now and I like it a lot, but it's an older phone (4+ years old now) and it's time to upgrade. I have considered the Apple route multiple times, but each time I just cannot justify the price to be locked into an ecosystem like that.
1,000 for a phone that will get slowed down right after the software doesn’t support it. I had a 7 and right after iOS 13 released (not supported by the 7) everything became unusable. Battery was dropping by 12 percent Just by unlocking the phone (81% battery health), phone would not unlock and was stuck in lock screen until power cycling this phone, and apps would not load. Now have a standard 11 and beside slightly small storage it has been decent. Battery life was much better before installing more apps. I was going from 3 days without charging to between half and a hole day. This is with the same battery health and less screen time.
I'm mostly confident in saying that I have never paid more than $40 for any of my 3 Androids. Upgrades were absolute musts because of basic apps clogging the storage space. All 2 GB and 8GB respectively. My third was bought only 6 years ago and it makes/takes calls which is all most of us need. The best part about having out-of-date _anything_ is the parent company isn't dicking around on the drives and *FORCING* unnecessary updates. This is why I prefer using Win7 and 8.1 OS computers because Microsoft can't keep their disease ridden ding-a-lings off our disc space from Win10 on up. You taught me more about the Google Phone than anticipated. Didn't even think there'd be an option for custom wares. Usually devices like these are already loaded with garbage susceptible to users overriding them with their own brew. :)

Glad you're enjoying your time on the light side. 😉 If you miss the quality/smoothness of the iPhone I'd just get a newer and/or higher end pixel - e.g. a Pixel 8 or 7a.
Even the Pixel 6 is noticeably more smooth than the 6A and most iPhones, due to its 90hz screen. Most non-pro iPhones use a 60hz screen, as does the Pixel 6A.
I switched from Android to Apple about 5 years ago. It felt like I was jumping off a cliff into an unknown-but-probably-terrible fate. To my surprise, everything in iOS felt so much better and intuitive. I have considered switching back to Android, but then the thought of how terribly put together the entire Android experience is, I think (for now) I will stick to the well put together experience that is iOS. Android really has to clean its total experience up for me to make the jump back.

I just switched to a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 today from an iPhone XS, and I must say, never really thought I would ever buy an android phone, but I'm really enjoying my Flip so far. Also, for what so many iPhone users make it sound like, its much better and more polished than I've always been told by other apple users.

I have a Samsung Note 20 Ultra. It is the last Samsung flagship that takes a micro SD. I already have 256GGB and with my 256GB card I have 512GB of storage. It has 12GB of RAM and the camera is still great. Can't see much point in upgrading (which would level this phone as little more than an alarm clock).
Last year switch from iPhone to a Galaxy S21 and I'm not looking back, it's GREAT! I still have an iPad so I've not left iOS entirely behind but as a daily my Android phone is just so much nicer than my iPhone was.
I traded my Moto Edge 30 Pro for an iPhone 14 Pro Max. Bad move. Android is simpler and more intuitive. The screen of the Edge is - was :( a lot more brilliant and sharper. I will suffer the iPhone until the end of the year and perhaps get the Pixel 9 Pro. Thank you for your informative and entertaining videos.
Currently using a Galaxy S22 Ultra for about 5 months now. It's the best of both worlds, premium feel and camera like an iphone, and a lot of freedom/customization specially when using ONE UI and how much Good Lock offers for free. Also, the added bonus for productivity having a huge screen + S-Pen + Dex mode is awesome
I found your channel by one of your linux parodies. To be completely honest I excpected a gros misrepentation but it turned out to be shockingly accurate and hilarious. You really do have (at least some) experience with it it seems like. Cool to see an honest review about graphene os :)
I find iPhone users have no idea how the Android experience is, they just know it isn't iOS (which blows) and they are Apple zombies. Ex- iPhone user here, I haven;t looked back ever since I switched. BTW, The Pixel is the cheapest phone you can buy, the Galaxy phones are much more robust and polished so don't let that Pixel discourage you from trying other Android phones.
In case of Samsung only the S & Z series are polished & certain A series phones like A52s 5g. Else OneUI works like crap in other Samsung phones(u may not be able to recognise how crap it feels if u have used only Sammy & Pixel. But you will find differences in the overall smoothness of their UI in that case).
Research shows that android users are switching to iphones. I've always been an android user, can't believe how much I'm loving my first iphone this year.
@@ML-jk3sz People are different. I also experienced people switching from iOS to Android instead of the opposite (switched back to iOS myself). Although I can somewhat agree with you, I also think that some people just see Android as Samsung with too much tinkering and bad animations. And it's not completely wrong. Phones like the Nothing Phone and Pixel are becomming more and more popular because they actually contain a good Android ROM, polished and with easier access. Casual users just want that. A phone for texting, calling and maybe the camera and social media. It should just work. And the A Series isn't doing justice either. Helped with setting up an A phone. Took ages and I couldn't really make a Samsung account properly. You CAN deal with the iOS problems. A Sideloading service for iOS costs around 15$ a year and customization can be done with Cowabunga Lite or with good Widget apps. The Shortcut app is useful for some Android features. If those solutions aren't goo enough, iPhones really aren't for you. That's fine. But note that people like the simplicity and easy nature of iPhones.
Disclaimers: 1. Graphene is not necessary, he just got it so he doesn't get google spyware 2. a lot of the cool customization stuff (and certain stuff that he mentioned was exclusive to graphene) is mainly on samsung's android version, specifically within the app "good lock". 3. most android users usually don't use open source apps, but it's great for privacy and security and if you're using root/superuser, unlocked bootloader, etc. 4. by 2050, apple will probably have to make ios open source because of europe, until they decide to just merge it with android and you don't have to worry about the walled garden anymore.
How are they money sucking if phones are less expensive and last longer then any other phone 😂 they are usable for over 8 years ,while there isn’t a single android that is usable after 8 years 😂,most give up after 2 , Mac is same thing m1 air for 899 will outperform ANY windows pc for 899 😂
Switched to Android about two months ago. Took me a bit to set everything up the way I like, especially the browser. Still miss Safari sometimes, but the pre-installed Samsung Internet (discovered after trying four or five other browsers) is almost perfect for me. And the little bit it can't do directly, it still has an indirect way of achieving. Plus, as a Star Trek nerd boy born and raised, I'm totally geeking out about the option to replace the standard launcher with an LCARS interface that actually works.
Glad you're enjoying the Pixel. As a developer, it was such a nightmare building an app for Android and the market share/piracy risk thing is such a big issue that I didn't bother building my app for Android, even though I was using a cross-platform framework.
You what now. It's way easier on Android. And you aren't forced to own a Mac and use their horrible horrible swift or xcode *shivers* Making an Android app and uploading it is as simple as compiling it into a AAP or apk and just sharing or uploading that to the playstore. Also, one time fee. Not an overpriced subscription model. I've never once before heard anyone say it is easier to complete an app for iOS until now.
Also what privacy risk lol? You sound like one of those nuts that believe side loading is a security risk because google/apple can't get their paycheck from that.
I find it comical how cringe people get over which brand they use. All of them are written off of Linux. Android has more customization and back end abilities where iphone is simplistic. I have always goten fustrated on apple products since the 80s but understand why people love it.
I still don't know how apple are selling iPhones, they are basically designed for toddlers and housewives... But at the cost of a new vehicle, less features, less innovation but more money. Makes no sense
I’ve considered switching to Android from iOS several times but never have. The OnePlus Open has me intrigued because of how well the crease is hidden compared to other folds. Personally, I just like how iOS looks compared to Android. I know there are iOS launchers out there that you can download. iOS for me has also been reliable for the most part. I had one major issue with my old iPhone 8+ which ended up boot looping on me. It’s going have to take Apple to screw up royally in order to get me to switch at this point.
You think the creast is bad that I hardly notice it but that ugly bathtub on the iphone screen is a eye sore shame on apple for putting it there for advertising on commercials
A lot of foldables made after 2020 don't have crease issues. I think the only one that had the biggest issue was the Z-Flip. But the OnePlus Open, Motorola RAZR, and the newest Z-Flip and Z-Fold is a great choice! I've have my Motorola RAZR 5G for 3 1/2 years now, and I use it all the time. It's got a few scratches on the screen, but no creases, and no dead pixels or black spots. Works flawlessly.
Haven't seen a lot about it in the comments, also you must've heard it by now, but here goes anyway: When you have notifications that annoy you, just long-press them as they show up to either to make them silent, or disable them entirely. Glad you're enjoying Android! =)
Nice work Sam you are always entertaining, I have a Sony Xperia XZ2 which is about 6 years old. The thing won't die and I will get to that point when I need to change but not sure what to. I have had a plethora of phones over the years prior to owning the Sony. I too have a bunch of mp3s that I still listen too so sd card support all the way for me. I might have to go for a mid ranger next as I looked to see how much the Xperia 1 or 5 are and wow super expensive.....
Great vid! i related to it a lot! I switched from Android to iPhone coz my S21+ screen had a problem (it still works - I just can't see whats on screen well lol). Anyways, I had buyer's remorse for the first week because Android just has better customization and features. The gallery on iphone is weird and I miss how easy it was to organize my photos into albums and folders. I also miss the palm detection feature in the camera that takes a photo when you raise your palm. Made selfies so much easier. But I got over it and I got use to the iPhone and am enjoying it. But I heard iOS 18 is pretty much an android update for iphone so at least I get that. Might get a galaxy as a second phone soon just coz of the features.

I'm currently running LineageOS on a Samsung Note 10.1 tablet from 2012, it doesn't run quite as reliably as I would like, but it has Android 12 and runs it surprisingly well for a device of that age. Only problem is that the system crashes occasionally, causing the device to reboot.
LineageOS doesn't have the security features that GrapheneOS has. Namely, relocking the bootloader and sandboxed Google Play.
The microG for LineageOS fork already has microG preinstalled & set up to get you a nice, unGoogled experience with less hassle.

The thing about Graphene is you can’t see the value, but it’s far superior in terms of privacy and security. You just need to understand how important that is and will be in the future. Most people are instant gratification types and don’t care about these things.
All through middle school I was bullied for having a galaxy s6 edge it led to the point to where I gave in and bought an iphone. the battery died really fast, the operating system made me frustrated all the time, and I hated not being able to sideload. I switched back to android and im definitely not switching back
whole point of having an Iphone; just to showoff
bullying someone just because they don't have an iphone is so hopeless
I thought everyone is supposed to be polite af in murica
What? The S7 Edge is better than all I've ever had! In my highschool almost everyone had android. Crazy that somebody would make fun of you for that!
Apple Cult Fan boys are the WORST !!
Been Android user for my whole life, recently switched to iPhone 15 Pro. I hate iOS, Android is so much better. My next phone will be Android again.
same dude, i grow up hoping to save money to buy an itouch back then years ago. finally was able to get it and itouch was discontuined. bought a motorola and actually liked it a lot, very easy to use. now i only use samsung and with a good case with an inbuildt screen, it can last over 5 years
fr
I can relate. Hate every time I have to use iOS to support someone.
Same here.
Using s23 ultra, it is just awesome
I switched from the Note 20 Ultra to the 13 Pro Max...and i will never ever go back to Android. For me IOS works simply better than Android.
Your sponsorships are so creative and fun :)

Love that they used chemical totes at 5:47 for a background. you can get them for real cheap from some companies.
I’m curious to see Apple’s level of support for RCS before considering a switch.
Me, too
3:24 HarmonyOS is the same😂
I don't think so.
HarmonyOS is not same
It my still android but
IT IS NOT THE SAME
I use a Samsung Galaxy A51, which I chose mainly because it has decent specs and supports a microSD card. It also has a 3.5mm audio jack. Sadly, those are both things that many modern phones are doing away with.
btw if your phone runs out of storage you can just factory reset it and it becomes new again, no need to buy a new one
btw2! unlike on iPhones, to go back you don't need to swipe from the left edge to the right, you can also swipe from the right edge to the left! it's pretty nice. though 3-button navigation is also nice, especially on phones that aren't humongous
this is a pretty interesting take on the switching to Android thing! instead of using Android exactly the same way as you would've used an iPhone, jumping from one walled garden into another, you took actually advantage of Android's freedom and openness, to make the experience and your device truly your own. you're like the only youtuber that actually stepped back and considered what makes Android special. i was very surprised!
Great video mate. I’m an iPhone user, currently using the 14 Pro Max. I’m a tech lover so I’ve tried android using both Pixel and Samsung S Series phones but just prefer iPhone for me personally. There’s so many great options though nonetheless.
Always Android for me. I love being able to do so much with it.
like what?
@@steve9377 Like pirating games or songs or just any app you want to. Cmon, if you spent a lot on your phone, wouldn't you want it to give you service for free?
It would be more interesting if he switched to a more modern phone like a pixel 8
Graphene OS
A pixel 6 isn't that old
He wants just graphene os,
Google can send a free pixel 8 phones if he just messages them.
Spanner
Its about the OS not the phone
This is with the same battery health and less screen time.
an ecosystem for toddlers!
That was really useful. My next phone won't be an iPhone and you've helped me to feel much less "locked in"
I'm mostly confident in saying that I have never paid more than $40 for any of my 3 Androids.
6a is a budget device whereas the 12 is a flagship. That's the reason you find the iPhone to be built better.
Yes. Compare an iPhone to an S23 Ultra, and build quality is a matter of preference.
6a is mid-range.
Also what he is actually talking about is the app experience. Which seriously is much better on iOS than it is on Android. Be it any Android.
pffft hahahahaha lol@@dragonforcegaming7555 found the delusional fanboi
app to app its a horse race between the 2 on app quality
often better on 1 except for when the app was never made for the other device at all.......
I do NOT find the app experience better on IOS....
i hated my IOS device with extreme passion when i had it due to gestures and other failings being horrible...
acting like a 13yr old ignorant pretentious princess wasnt worth paying double++ and staying tech stupid vs learning a few things and using android.
@@dragonforcegaming7555 Can the 12 be considered a flagship? Maybe. Is the 12 mini the mid-ranger then? hmmm
@@mr.cringe61 12 series entirely is flagship. Apple's naming is different compared to Android OEMs.
For pixel & Samsung, A series is affordable/mid-range(Sammy's A-series is horribly complex tho. A0x for budget,A1x for mid budget,A2x for upper budget,A3x for lower mid-range,A5x for Upper mid-range. And in SK they also have A7x series😵💫).
For Apple, it's the garbage SE series which is considered as Mid-range.
Glad you're enjoying your time on the light side. 😉 If you miss the quality/smoothness of the iPhone I'd just get a newer and/or higher end pixel - e.g. a Pixel 8 or 7a.
iphone aint that smooth tbh, im using one and my dads phone is far more fluid and snappy
Android really has to clean its total experience up for me to make the jump back.
what phone did you have
@@IStMl I had the Samsung Galaxy s10
Samsung's version of Android is very bloated and user-unfriendly.
I recommend you give a shot to Pixels, they're basically iPhones with better UX and more features@@dharvell
Try a Pixel, so much more cohesive than an old Samsung...
Your’s the the best tech vids ever
And GrapheneOS is great. A bit underwhelming initially, but set up sandboxed google and a burner account and you’re sweet.
The Pixel 6a & 7a have won MKBHD’s blind mobile camera test (for still images) two years running.
There is just so much "stuff" on the iPhone that I will never use, and navigating around and through it all is frustrating.
@@noobishfingershahaha I like your humor!
@@ML-jk3sz What iphone did you have
0:26 Why the switch? To get more clicks?
Disclaimers:
1. Graphene is not necessary, he just got it so he doesn't get google spyware
2. a lot of the cool customization stuff (and certain stuff that he mentioned was exclusive to graphene) is mainly on samsung's android version, specifically within the app "good lock".
3. most android users usually don't use open source apps, but it's great for privacy and security and if you're using root/superuser, unlocked bootloader, etc.
4. by 2050, apple will probably have to make ios open source because of europe, until they decide to just merge it with android and you don't have to worry about the walled garden anymore.
Sorry, but we'll never get to 4. You may as well just make closed source in general illegal at that point.
This video is really entertaining and informative, been watching for many years. Hope you gain a million subscribers and more.
Still using my good old iPhone 12 Pro.. and NO WAY I'm switching it any time soon!
1:07 This is a joke right? You have to buy a new Iphone, when it runs out of storage?
Nope you’re basically stuck with whatever hard drive space you get in an Apple product.
thank you for mentioning libre software
Not KDE Connect though, the core of an FOSS device ecosystem.
Yes! Another customer freed from apple's money sucking stores
How are they money sucking if phones are less expensive and last longer then any other phone 😂 they are usable for over 8 years ,while there isn’t a single android that is usable after 8 years 😂,most give up after 2 , Mac is same thing m1 air for 899 will outperform ANY windows pc for 899 😂
@@Tetrathegod Wouldn't have said it like you, but you aren't completely wrong...
@@TetrathegodIt is almost impossible for a phone to last 8 years the battery will die by then.
Welcome to Romania, Sam. Hope you have a great time here!
Glad you're enjoying the Pixel. As a developer, it was such a nightmare building an app for Android and the market share/piracy risk thing is such a big issue that I didn't bother building my app for Android, even though I was using a cross-platform framework.
You what now. It's way easier on Android. And you aren't forced to own a Mac and use their horrible horrible swift or xcode *shivers*
Making an Android app and uploading it is as simple as compiling it into a AAP or apk and just sharing or uploading that to the playstore.
OnePlus Open is by far the most mature foldable device, nothing really comes close to it in foldables, strongly recommended!
I'm not stuck with one company I buy what I want and like not the same phone year after year
Haven't seen a lot about it in the comments, also you must've heard it by now, but here goes anyway: When you have notifications that annoy you, just long-press them as they show up to either to make them silent, or disable them entirely.
Open source, open mind.
I hope you enjoy your time in my country Romania! :D
Great vid! i related to it a lot!
Most android vs ios videos are simping trash but this one's really nice Sam.
I love how you actually understand and talk things like libre software.
