The very best part of fishing this lake is that it is a flood control lake and no development is allowed. The boat traffic is almost non existent for a lake of this size. You will almost never see a personal watercraft except near the dam. Bass - D White bass - A Blue catfish - A Other Catfish - B Crappie - B Hybrids - C Walleye - C
I was out here flying the drone this a.m. Many catfish below the dam. Water is pretty low, very little being released. Seems much nicer down there than years ago when I was a kid. I fished at the Marina in the late 80's and early 90's. Have caught plenty of decent crappie. Only been out a few times in boat. I wouldn't argue with the grade, but might go C+ or even up to a B- for those who know the lake well and do bass fish from boats. Just a matter of knowing where all the artificial brush piles have been placed. Thanks for the great video.
Honestly, I wanted to rate oologah as a D. But since I haven’t really fished the upper end enough to give it a fair assessment I didn’t want to do that. They are both pretty equal in my opinion. What do you think?
@@PrestigeWorldwideFishing I would put Skiatook a grade or half grade above Oologah (for bass). It's a nicer Lake to fish and you can get smallmouth there too which is cool.
Yes!
What did ya use
Not sure what you mean

Yeah that’s fair. Thanks for comment. Take care
As an angler with no boat, I have a lot of success targeting Blue Catfish on Oolagah, more so than any other close to Tulsa lake
Nice! I hear oologah is good for that
So based on your grading of the lakes, you think Skiatook is about the same quality as Oolagah (both a C)?

Yes I agree with that. The potential of catching smallmouth really helps that lake
Your grade of this Lake is fair. Has some decent ones for sure, but not a super bass lake.
I wondering if the hybrid stocking will hurt the bass even more? I need to read up on that
