Ryzen 7, 32gb ram and 2tb storage at that form factor is insane! That resolution on an AMOLED that small would look amazing. Personally ,I'm excited about this device!
Are you excited about the price point too that Ayaneo prices them at? From what you're describing it sounds like the $1500 AYANEO Next PRO that's $1500 given the specs you listed. That's nothing to be excited about.

So much potential in this market, but current limits in battery technology are holding it back. The Switch remains the most viable portable option because it doesn't die after an hour of use.
Spending over a grand on the flagship model is a tough sell despite the power and form factor, but it's nice to see it as an available option. Excited to see how far this tech will advance in the next 5+ years.

Baby don't get a laptop it's so heavy and big you literally can put this in your purse and even with a foldable keyboard and dock it's still lighter than a laptop. It's a 1000 well so is a iPhone but with this it's a portable computer😂

not too likely, since any attempt to do so will likely either drag the ps5 down in some way... or drag itself down, especially when the switch exists. any attempt to outcompete the switch itself power wise would eat into the ps5...

The windows of opportunities is even larger on the Steam Deck, as we can easily install windows from (and in) a micro SD card and simply dual-boot the Steam Deck as Windows or Steam OS as you wish while not overwriting the original systems OS, having all the perks of the SteamOS controllable refresh rate, FPS locking and all performance enhanced tweaks Valve's constantly improving through the translations layers and beyond; as we all could see at Elden Rings performance at launch, that showcased a better and stable performance on the Steam Deck SteamOS thanks to all that. And (already from a while now) you can also have Windows (dual-booted or just Windows if you wish) to play all the not yet supported titles, with full drivers-support. So I'm doing my part on shining more on the enlightenment that the Steam Deck is a beautiful beast constantly improving handheld gaming system.

How’s The Buttons? Do They Wear Easy, Because Thats Probably The Most Important Thing, If Those Go, You Have An Unplayable Brick Unless You Send It In Or Fix It Yourself.
Welp it is a PC and you can connect a controller when you dock it into TV.
Cool that it's more comparable to the switch lite in size because handhelds have been getting huge recently. Still hate the non-ergonomic button layout that many handhelds have now because of the switch, the layout makes sense on a joy-con but handhelds should really be having a button layout more like a psvita's.

I'm in two minds about the size of handhelds currently. The steam deck is probably the perfect size, feels great for long gaming sessions and the screen is great. But my switch lite is what I'd take on trips as it can fit easily in my bag!!

Everyone should hold off on the Ayaneo, it’s weak and more expensive than the Steam Deck. Win GPD 4 is also looking really promising, if no one is familiar with GPD 4 give it a search.

GDP Win 4, Aya Neo Slide, and Onexplayer Mini Pro are coming out soon and gonna be 6800u with RDNA 2. They make them so fast that we will probably see their next variants with 7800u, RDNA 3, DDR6, and Thunderbolt 5 next year or so.

You can get windows on the deck now. There is official drivers too
You could get windows on steam deck from the release of it.

The real question would be though what would happen if you replaced the SSD on the Air and installed HoloISO(SteamOS 3.0) on the system like what would be the battery life then and also would the performance be a little better then.
That is like the real question since for most people they would actually try using these systems with different operating systems.
ETA PRIME has a video on it and its pretty awesome. Not anything mind blowing but for some games it really does boost it so when AYA NEO OS comes out will see a jump.

Sure, it’s impressive to have this power in such a small form factor, but I’ll take the Steam Deck’s ergonomics over portability any day.
Every handheld wants to look like the switch so they sacrifice ergonomics to look more like it, even when the limitations of the joy-cons don't apply to this handheld.

Microsoft doesn’t need to come out with one. Microsoft lets others make such devices and then makes it easy to use them to stream Xbox cloud games.

if you want gpu specs you can just look up the gpu specs for the ryzen 5 5560u since the gpu is built into the cpu

they have one coming, but it's also got stanrd USB-c on top and bottom, so almost any dock will work.

It's heavily sponsored, the way they glossed over performance and completely ignored ergonomics, the most important aspect of a handheld. Oh, and Deck has Windows too so I'm not sure why you'd choose the Aya for Windows.
