Germany to Push Ahead With €7 Billion Military Overhaul

Germany’s ruling coalition will forge ahead with an overhaul of the nation’s armed forces with orders worth as much as €7 billion for two navy frigates and hundreds of armored transport vehicles. The move is part of a push to modernize the Bundeswehr triggered by Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Bloomberg's Oliver Crook reports.

Canada DOES NOT meet the 2% target. Canada spends 1.33% of GDP on military and $6B to $7B short of NATO target.

How can they? Native German women barely have children, and this has been a trend for decades. The few young Germans there are think they are too good to serve in the military.
