Europe is facing a stark reality: its air defences are woefully inadequate. A recent NATO report revealed the alliance has less than 5% of the capability it needs to protect its eastern flank, particularly countries in Central and Eastern Europe bordering Russia. This vulnerability has become a focal point as the war in Ukraine rages on. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has been asking for more air defence systems to counter relentless Russian airstrikes. While acknowledging the urgency, NATO has yet to take significant steps to bolster air defences in Eastern Europe. Moreover, Europe's efforts to boost their air defence systems are hampered by internal disagreements. Kremlin advisors are suggesting a "demonstrative" nuclear strike in Ukraine. I learned a lots when I work in Middle East. The best thing to do is respect each others. Like if NATO has a respect for it's neighbours. War should be prevented. @@JuanPreciado87-- Russia was not expelled that was media propaganda. Russia actually withdrew their troops to show "good faith" Russia would honour the Peace Agreement they made with Ukraine in March 2022. Within weeks of entering Ukraine.
It was Boris Johnson who tore the Agreement up and told Zelenskyy he was going to fight and there would be no peace. Stop listening to that 'west' propaganda and get the facts. This is brought to light by the African Peace Council when they met to act as mediator for an Agreement. The Council disbanded once they found out the US/EU/UK again did not honour a signed peace plan agreement.
For the 7th time, Putin did not ask for East Ukraine territory but only no NATO in Ukraine and banning of Nazi's. But I think Putin has run out of patience and he will not give up the territory he has now acquired in any future negotiations. You can fight as many wars as you want for as long as you want...but they all end in negotiations sooner or later.
defeat or victory lies with solely with one aspect on either side: if nato invades russian territory, they will be doomed; if russia invades nato territory, they too will be doomed; if they engage in a conflict from a distance but do not invade each other's territory, they might emerge victorious. why? well because their domestic population lacks any will to fight in a war that does not affect/impact them directly. nobody will go to serve and perish so to safeguard some distant foreign nation. but they will take up arms and defend themselves if the danger emerges on their neighbourhood street and in their home.

It might be beneficial if California didn't do anything. I doubt any country really wants you. The last thing you need are higher taxes to pay for a defense system. You are now paying for that $320 million floating dock in Israel which sunk within a few weeks and can't be fixed.

It's not that they want to kill civilians. (Unless they are Ukraine Nazi soldiers) Many of these soldiers are just young boys who are scared. They don't know if the enemy is hiding in the bus or not. So they shoot out of fear. Or because they have received orders to shoot at any person or vehicle which drives on that road. War is hell. That is the saddest part. The leaders who encourage war are not fighting themselves nor are their children. They have no idea what it is like.
