Stern missed out on design when it came to the shark. I laughed when I read that the shark didn’t eat the balls and you needed a mod for that. Nice install!
Man, this is pretty darn excellent. Someone put this modder on payroll; they know how to get things done.
Stern keeps getting cheaper and cheaper and cheaper and their prices keep going up and up and up. This is a really awesome mod.
It's a more simple game sure, but to say that as a company they are getting cheaper and cheaper? In the past few years they've released Foo Fighters, Rush, and Godzilla. There is a fair amount of things going on in those games. Some tables are a swing and a miss, or aren't suited to your specific tastes. But I also think the more simple games should be cheaper, so, I half agree with you.
This should have been an essential piece of both pro and premium. Cheaper and crappy engineering goes hand in hand with new stern. At local locations, all the jaws and all the venom are busted. None of the rotating u turn ramps work and can't be fixed by Stern on Venom and the airballs and broken off shark fins are rampant on jaws. Its pretty pathetic. The game jaws is ok, boring to me it's slow with not alot of mutiballs and no shark eating a ball is a crime. It might be more fun with this....

Most impressive is that this mod was done so quick. Either before the game was released or very soon after.
And I even heard that he didn't do it to charge an exuberant amount of money for it. Imagine that!

What an awesome mod! For what $tern is charging for pinball machines, it’s absolutely deplorable that this wasn’t a feature from the beginning. Your machine looks amazing and I hope you continue to get enjoyment from it.

I don't have a Jaws at the moment, but this will be a must-have mod should I ever pick one up. Excellent video and keep up the great work with the podcast. Really enjoy it. Ed
Don, did you already install that thin gasket mod beneath the fin arc? The plastic there GIVES to the weight of the ball, creating a vertical gap in the arc slot which causes mega brick shots, the ball launching off wildly into the upper-right of the glass.
It looks like brass knuckles w the spikes actually lining up perfectly w the red arrows, allowing light to pass through but not creating shadows. *ANNNND …*
I just heard on the _LoserKid_ pod that Stern has released the shark WITH a bash-ball already in its cakehole. 🤷♂️
Oh hey, yep I got the Rocket City airball for the plastic. Took care of the airballs.
And yeah Stern includes an extra ball if you wanna put one in the sharks mouth. I have the ball eater mod installed now.

Finally! That's wicked! Do you feel it changed the game play? Being that it has to go in rather than just hit him?
It still registers the hit whether or not it goes in. So it’s just an added feature!
I like the mod but the red LED around the mouth is too much IMO. Sometimes less is more, but great work. 👍

For the price stern should have added this in the game already! they are going down in quality for a certain amount of their pins! ppl are noticing it! im not impressed with foo fighthers either lol,
