Great to see you back out Jamie. have to say i do like the colour mage slighty more out of the 2 images. what a lovely place that is. till the next one mate. 👍
After only watching the Pubcast the other day i am glad to see you back out with the camera, i hope your mojo has returned . I always struggle, more than usual, this time of year with both finding locations and motivation to get out as the others on the Pubcast said dont false it im sure your motivation to get out in the woodlands will return as soon as the weather and therefore conditions pick up. As for the image i personally prefer the colour version showing the golden light on the side of the building. Good to see you back at it, take care mate.
Good to see you back Jamie. I also need to get Carpel Tunnel surgery done. Was due last September but then I went and smashed my shoulder... Waiting to be scheduled again...... BTW... Prefer the colour one
Hi Mark, good luck with the Op. It’s quick and easy but the recovery time is longer than I thought. Have now got to decide the best time to get the other hand done!
Nice bag... 😉 It had to be the colour for me Mr O. Sometimes the light & the conditions just don't play ball but good to see you out with the camera again. atb Al
Great to see you back Jamie. Interesting spot by the look of it. Just been through through a similar journey to you from September to February on Medical stuff. Getting out and doing photography helped keep me sane in the end. I went off and tried different genres and styles, stuff that easily accessible and it got me my photographic mojo for landscape back in the end. Thanks for all your efforts in producing these, it certainly needs dedication on your part.
If there was more contrast to set the building off I would say the mono version, but the colour version with the light that you had I think is better...something to come back to again! Good to see you back, look forward to the next one!
I prefer the colour one, as you say the sky in the mono one needs more cloud cover. glad to see your back. It looks a interesting place, must pay a visit.
Hi Jamie it's great to see you out vlogging again and I'm just catching up with the video's. I personally prefer the colour version of the image at the end mainly because of the gorgeous lighting on the building. If it had been an overcast day then probably mono would be better
Back on the saddle Jamie,. Yes the weather has been pants recently but it is finally getting better now. As regards B&W or colour I think I would go for the colour one this time and I must get caught up with the Photography Pubcast.👍
Nice shot! I'd pick the colour version - the building just pops a bit more against the sky. I dropped in at Holme Fen this morning and it was good to see there wasn't too much damage from the storm. I think they have a bit more flexibility than some other trees, maybe that helped keep them standing!
Yes flexible but that peat doesn’t give those roots much to hold onto, hence why you get some much dead fall there. Looking forward to some spring mist down there
Got to be the colour for me, but the b&w with a bit of 'overlay' gaussian glow would look atmospheric. More importantly, good to see you out again. To be honest I think its largely the weather that's been putting people off. Wet and windy does nothing for me personally or photographically. I go out for a walk and come back windswept and interesting but with no photo's. Weather reports seem to be regularly incorrect as well.
It’s good to be back out again Iain. It is mainly the weather for sure. I’m sure if we’d have had better conditions at weekends I would have been out more often, but with wind and rain I just can’t be arsed!
@@JamieOverland Yep, sums it up for me. I moved to shooting b&w over the winter but I've still taken very few shots. Even went into Glasgow on a bright day to take 'street', lasted two hours, bloody baltic. If you're coming north I'm happy to meet at Loch Lomondside in passing. Glencoe is two hours away, been there, done that.
Just because you haven't done a vlog in a while doesn't mean you can commit that school boy error with the mic on the zip. 😁 Think I prefer the colour. Enjoy Scotland
Fantastic upload friend keep it up 💗🧡
Thank goodness youre back. Good to see. Colour for me by far. Lovely golden light and well composed 👍👍
Thanks James, much appreciated. Was happy with the comp, just needed the light. Good to get out though
I was praying for you there Jamie. We’ll done, a lovely winter light image just as you’d hoped. 👍
Thanks Simon. Yes pleased to come away with a shot but getting back out with the camera was the best part of the day!
Colour for me, well composed and lovely light. Great to see you're active again, already looking forward to the next one.
Much appreciated Patrick

Thanks Lee, appreciate your kind words mate
Glad to see you're back, you have been missed, but I know how you feel, difficult to get excited in bad weather. Personally I like the flour version.
Much appreciated Kevin

That’s good to hear Paul. It’s tough isn’t it when you get in a negative rut. Thankfully it only takes one decent trip to get that mojo back
Good to see you out and about I hope you are soon back to full fitness nice vlog mate and a great image at the end Burt

Agreed Neil, the mono didn’t really have the mood I was hoping for. Pleased with the composition though
I prefer the colour one, as you say the sky in the mono one needs more cloud cover. glad to see your back. It looks a interesting place, must pay a visit.
Thanks Denis. Yes I ended up preferring the colour for that reason. It’s a great place to visit - it’s a National Trust site

Many thanks Paul. The colour worked better I thought
Love the colour pallet of the image in
Cheers Jamie
I’ll go for the colour one Jamie, the B&W needed more contrast for me. Good to see you back.
Thanks Brian. Just played with a more contrasty edit and I tend to agree 👍

Thanks Peter. Yep looking forward to the spring colours now 👍

Colour for me Jamie warm light on the building makes it...👍
Agree - thanks John

Yep guilty as charged. Next time I’ll fix it down! Did try to clean the audio but couldn’t. Hope it wasn’t too distracting
Spending half of the video walking, on uninteresting talk, doesn’t help teaching at all.
Thanks for that, glad you enjoyed it!
