  • In this video we're exploring Bangalore!
Bangalore, officially known as Bengaluru, is the capital city of the Indian state of Karnataka. It is located in the southeastern part of the state on the Deccan Plateau. Bangalore is one of India's largest and most vibrant cities, renowned for its pleasant climate, diverse culture, and booming IT industry.
Here are some key points about Bangalore:
IT Hub: Bangalore is often referred to as the "Silicon Valley of India" due to its thriving IT industry. It is home to many multinational corporations, tech startups, and research institutions. Major IT parks like Electronic City and Manyata Tech Park house offices of companies like Infosys, Wipro, IBM, and Google.
Climate: Bangalore enjoys a moderate climate throughout the year. Its elevation of over 900 meters (3,000 feet) above sea level contributes to its pleasant weather, with temperatures rarely exceeding 30°C (86°F). However, rapid urbanization has led to some environmental challenges, such as pollution and diminishing green spaces.
Culture and Diversity: The city boasts a rich cultural heritage and is known for its cosmopolitan atmosphere. It has a blend of traditional South Indian culture and modern cosmopolitan lifestyle. People from various parts of India and the world reside here, contributing to its cultural diversity.
Education: Bangalore is a major educational hub in India, with numerous prestigious educational institutions. It is home to Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB), and several other renowned universities and colleges.
Garden City: Bangalore is often called the "Garden City of India" due to its many parks and gardens. Lalbagh Botanical Garden and Cubbon Park are among the most famous green spaces in the city, offering residents and visitors alike a respite from the urban hustle.
Traffic Congestion: The city is notorious for its traffic congestion and infrastructure challenges. Rapid urbanization, coupled with a surge in the number of vehicles, has led to traffic snarls and long commute times, especially during peak hours.
Cuisine: Bangalore offers a diverse culinary experience, ranging from traditional South Indian delicacies like dosa, idli, and vada to international cuisines. The city has a vibrant food scene with numerous restaurants, cafes, and street food stalls catering to various tastes.
Overall, Bangalore is a dynamic and bustling metropolis that continues to attract people from all over India and the world, drawn by its opportunities, culture, and quality of life.

Had you known about the 26/11 terror attacks in Mumbai, wouldn't have commented on the security.
The fact that after the 2008 Mumbai attacks , India never had a large-scale terrorist attack in any of the major cities talk highly about the heightened security measures.
Heightened security is the same at the airports and railway stations too.
Certain Malls, public places have been identified by security agencies which can be possible targets hence the heightened security measure.

Interesting safari, albeit with the shortcomings discussed. Lots of cats, perdy deers. Plenty awesome elephants; most look fine but as you said it's sad about that one. Love the enthusiastic assistance you had with your channel promo at the end. 🙂 And... good luck going forward.

Yes it was a good time 👍 I didn't film the butterfly park but it was great too. There was a playground for the kids to play on and a guide showed/told us all about the lifecycle of a butterfly.
The kids are taking an interest in making the videos 😊 They record little videos of themselves on their tablets often.

Nandi Hills is a good place to visit if there are children. If you like paintings & sculpture, you can visit Karnataka Chitrakala Parishat.... but not for children. There are also a couple of museums like Visvesvaraya Museum and HAL Aerospace Museum.... and several water parks and amusement parks. Nothing special compared to USA but you can vist them if you are looking for places to visit in Bangalore.

I am surprised you chose Tanzania over Kenya in Africa as Kenya is more of a tourist destination, compared to Tanzania. Although Kenya would be more expensive. If you like lions Masai Mara National Park has a ton of lions, for whatever reason? Within 5 minutes of entering the Park we stumbled across a huge pride of lions. And then it was lions after lions that we got bored with them and wanted to see other animals. But we did see a lot of animals. I think it is the best Park for animals. Tsavo is too spread out like most parks in Tanzania and difficult to see animals up close. Amboseli has the backdrop of Mt Kilimanjaro. The mountain reveals itself at dusk and it is awesome with the animals in the foreground.

Many a time there is no actual orphanage as claimed. Almost none would check whether such an orphanage actually exists and whether these really are authorised by such orphanages. Usually orphanages have their donations from individuals visiting them, once in a while or donating regularly, after being aware of their works. Good that you avoided paying the guy at the park.
