*Edit: The first couple of minutes I say the Navi is a 125cc bike and that is incorrect. It is actually a 109cc. I correct this later in the video just had a brain fart on that.
In this First Ride video, Chaseontwowheels takes a little scoot on the Honda Navi. Is it a motorcycle, a mini-bike or a scooter? Hopefully we can find out what this little thing is and who it's best for in today's video.

I’d love to see you ride a Yamaha xmax 300. I want a second bike with some storage, tech, and wind protection. But don’t want to pay a
Fortune for a motorcycle with those features. Most of the reviews online for scooters are with small riders or in different languages. I’d love to see a review from an experienced rider that’s roughly my size.

I spent the entire video watching if he would ever turn off the choke lol. I own one and I really enjoy riding it around town. It's only for 45mph or less roads. All of its shortcomings tires, seat, rear shock, roller weights, clutch, variator, lights can be upgraded for fairly cheap if someone chooses to. It's a reliable Honda & stock parts are dirt cheap if they ever break. All the other Honda mini bikes are 125cc & faster but the MSRP is also double the price. It's a perfect beginner bike & you don't have to learn how to use a clutch.

I love mine. It's 100% perception of speed without actual speed. Between it being small, a surprising 0-30 acceleration, and being able to wring it out all day long, it 'feels' like you are going fast without any chance of getting into trouble. It's such stupid fun. Most surprising is the compliments and questions I get. This county I live in, is full of compensators. Minibikes just aren't a thing here. As I speak to you now about time for the release of 25 models, our local Honda dealership still has 03 Navis. And so you don't see them driving around. And so I'm met with curiosity. By the time they are done talking to me, they want one, LOL!

For the money, im so glad i got that and not the navi. 200cc engine. 6 speed .At 17HP im certainly not the epitome of speed. However I Can get on the highway ( not interstate too slow) and keep up with the flow of traffic. For a beginner I highly recommend and u wont have to deal with a dealership and fees. The price, well, is juat the price. Some sites have free shipping, others ship for 300. 🎉plus it is fuel injected thank god

This would be great to have as a city commuter it just sucks that I need an M endorsement on my license to ride it in PA it's just a hassle. I might just settle for a 50cc Roughhouse and be done with it as it only requires a class C license in PA to ride which I have. I just don't have much time to devote to taking a motorcycle course/class right now.

The Navi has a 0.9 gallon tank and a mpg of 132.6 so not bad other than it having a carburetor 👍 best to use unleaded Ethanol for the bike it has some protection against the engine sputtering also I bought a new carburetor which is why I said a 132.5 mpg difference also major speed difference I can get a top speed of 62 mph switched the throttle and the best thing I found out is that you have to fill it up higher than the average of 0.756 I filled it up to 0.923 and major difference also I changed the brakes to hydraulic and made the speedometer LED and added front suspension also the heavier you are the slower the acceleration is so if you wanna hit 62 mph be 165-175 lbs and you’ll get that difference with the government tax and fees plus the bike and all the mods it costed me $3,347 so this can be a nice little moped/scooter if you put the work in.

in india i first used this bike as rental in a beach town for more than two months
    i am 5 feet 11 inches and 100 kgs
have done 100 kmp on this bike on an empty road and used it for a lot of off roading there on beaches sand and gravel
in bombay city i am using this since two years now for running errands and this is a zippy peppy ride and so easy to weave in traffic and takes off like a rocket at traffic signal going green
for your information thius uses a cvt clutch drive which had infinite gear combinations thus makes the power delivery very fast
the braking sytem could be better but then in a city back to back traffic the brakes are adequate

That is NOT shaft drive. One of the defining characteristics of a scooter (and the Navi as well) is that the engine and swingarm are one unit, essentially you can think of it as the 2 wheel version of a "rear engine". The engine is literally on the swing arm right in front of the rear wheel, that's why there's room for a storage box where a motorcycle engine would normally be. Realistically, it's better to think of the Navi as a scooter dressed up as a motorcycle, rather than as an actual motorcycle.

I have a 2022 Navi. Other than the carb having to be taken off and cleaned at 170 miles it's been a good bike. It's not as fast as my 2022 Honda Grom of course, but it's automatic and perfect for my daughter to learn on. She absolutely loves it. The storage is a huge plus. The biggest downfall is the small gas tank, but you're always in town and around a gas station due to the top speed being around 45-50mph.
