My old man and me would watch ilc every friday night. he was a drill sgt straight laced soldier from nam. he would laugh his ass off watching this. 100x more than snl. it was always a trip never seen him laugh so hard.
I sure do miss that era on TV. People seemed to be able to laugh at themselves and others so much easier then. The world was definitely a funnier place.

In Living Color was 4 of the greatest years on TV. FOX had to go and ruin it by trying to take over the creative side of something that wasn't their ideas to begin with
So, my wife was on the Facebook Marketplace and she was like, "what's in living color?". For a moment there, I had to question my life choices. Anyway, I jumped up from my post work nap, and told her, with haste in my voice, to message them right away that we can be there in a half hour. She attempted to respond, but I was like, ask me on the way, just start typing. I went to get dressed, got my shoes, her shoes, my coat her, coat, and I was ready to go before the lady even responded. To surprise, upon response, the seller was 2 town over! I was overcome with great happiness. I basically put my wife's shoes on her feet for her. I must have run every red light, broken every traffic law, to make to there house, as they were getting ready to go out for dinner. Thankfully, I already had cash on hand. I have now been a proud owner of the complete box set of In living color for the past 8 years. And my wife finally understood, after 30 years, why all the boys in her school kept sayin "Homey don't play dat"

One of the best variety shows ever. When did we lose our sense-of-humor?? This would NEVER be done now.
