It's nice to see a good quality boat from the states! Usually they're all rather flimsy with the outdated 4,3 mercruiser 135hp engine, just covered in carpet and plastic to make it look nice. It's aparent that these are solid boats through and through, and would easilly rival the Norwegian competition.
We have a 2015 gt185 ski and fish. 4.3 Volvo Penta. We love the design and the look. It's very unique. But, tell me why the trim is so touchy? Our old SX 3.0 Inboard with the VEC hull handled the water so good. This newer one bounces so bad on light chop or boatwaves. Trimmed too high it bounces, trimmed too low it plows. I've never found the happy medium. I'm looking to get rid of it just for that reason.
I am so sorry that Glastron don't make a new Scimitar, they are reaching on todays auctions or salesevents (as 30year old Boats) skyrocket Prices (there is none less than 20k on the Market) and what does Glastron? They waste their time with shit like this GTs and other nonsense Boats and go from one bankruptcy to another.....such a shame that they dont go back to their roots.....James Bond Style.....
This is shitty design in comparison to Yamaha's design where the back swim platform makes ease of entry and exit from the water. This design look very dated. Too bad..
MSRP for each boat line would’ve been nice. I like the look of the dashboard gauges.

The 3L Mercruiser is coarse but bulletproof.

You do know that you can change the trim of the engine, right? Mechanics of boat dealers know how to do this.
@@travelinman482 I had no idea. I will look into this
Sadly, closed-bow boats are going the same way as manual transmissions in cars.

Then, go buy a Yamaha boat. Problem solved. BTW, this is a video about Glastron boats. lol
Jet boat versus outboard…two different types of boats. But since you’re a boat expert, you knew that, right?
